  1. Northern Bass supply, great shop, loaded.
  2. If anyone ever watches cops, they always have incidents with kids and bb guns that look real with the red tip removed, toy guns, etc and the 1 thing the cops always say, regardless of city is,..."If you ever moved that towards me, you wouldn't be here anymore". Why should the homeowner to have the same right to protect himself? Just like the officer, he is the target of unknown harm also. Boom boom, 1 less robber.
  3. Amen. I'm down to 1 rod, 1 bait, lol, you choose the color, I could care less. Maybe I'm too simple but like Tom said, that's what fishing is for ME, doesn't have to be what it is for you.
  4. 10 yrs is a good avg, she's between 8-12 depending on the abundance of forage where she lives. Nice fish Al
  5. Glenn's house, Friday at 8. see y'all there!!! (Glenn,....make some room dude,....I just invited a few friends to your house,.....26,000 of them,lol) ;D 8-)
  6. Mine would be DooDads by Nabisco,.....man I miss that stuff. There are a bunch of recipes out there to make your own but none ever come out the same. The discontinuation of "Tid Bits" one of the 5 main ingredients, was the reason given by Nabisco for it's demise :-[ :'( >
  7. Congrats Wayne, she's a lucky chick All the best to both of you.
  8. Lots of fish to be had on the almighty trick stick. This thing will be finding new people 20 yrs from now, amazing. Be sure to read up on the link RW provided above, everything you could ever conceive regarding these baits, is in there. and DEFINITELY check out the ***. Lots of $ to be saved
  9. Let's see 'em!!
  10. That's funny right there...
  11. Kids remember these days. The memories are priceless. What's a topwater spinnerbait, a buzzbait?
  12. We call that a "troll"
  13. X2 3 million candle spot light-priceless visor light- Priceless Home made roller system for launching the boat over the rocks- WAAAAAY priceless
  14. I can't see it, pics are too large, all I see is a parked truck
  15. Basically, the only 2 things it can't be used with are the gulp products and the 3x (Strike King) or cyberflexxx types of plastics. The gulp is already impregnated with lots of good stuff and the others simply disappear when dipped in JJ's
  16. Is the mega dog poured into a Strike King mold? Cool spinnerbait
  17. I meant the pictures of your fish! lol
  18. Well, even with the finish on the few test ones I have, which is much thinner than the next batch will be, they have remained well sealed. Still as buoyant as day 1. I'm curious what we can come up with that's thicker but might settle for something in between. As of right now, the finish lasts much, much, much longer than a Slammer.
  19. Already a huge fan of the Rooster and the Eeliminator looks pretty deadly too. Way to go Big O!!
  20. Oh, ok, I think I missed the point of the thread, lol. As for equipment, I like good stuff but for certain baits like soft plastics, I would never pay full retail for stuff like GYCB's. The big argument is that they work better because they are softer but even if this was 100%, indisputably the case, (in my experience,..it's not).....does it cost that much more to make a softer bait??? I think it actually costs less (less hardener is added to the recipe) I'll give it to Gary that he developed a great shape but, IMO, you're paying for hype. So for stuff like that, I'll go the less expensive, just as productive route. (This is not a GYCB rant, this is just the most obvious example I can think of right now) I think the biggest factor that can make a dramatic difference in your fishing would be the choice of action specific rods. I think that comes more with balancing your arsenal and doing the research before buying, moreso than the overall price though.
  21. Skipjack Bluefish- Al's goldfish $0.29
  22. I understand completely, but admit that I don't walk the walk. Give me some line and a hook and I'd like to think I can bring home dinner. Heck, the Native American Indians got it done with a piece of bone for a hook and braided twine or hair for line It's not the car, it's the driver, but when you make it your "living",...well sure, buy the good stuff The one thing I won't personally skimp on though ,.......is my coffee, lol CHEERS Tommy!
  23. The way to drink a cold glass of milk slowly is easy. Eat an Oreo between each mouthful Milk drinkers are fewer and further between these days. It IS kind of gross if you stop and think about it but,.....I still love it. Think about it,....what other animal drinks ANOTHER animals breast milk????
