  1. Itches for awhile, lots of bacteria,..feels similar to getting poked with the spine on a shrimp.
  2. My girl Michelle has this too,...sucks. I'm eating much healthier because of it. I have a friend who owns a vegan bakery in Cali,..sends me awesome recipes, Glut-free stuff like chocolate cake that's actually fluffy, moist,...and get this,...tastes like chocolate!! All kinds of stuff! If interested, I'll hook you up with her
  3. I'm fine, I'm fine, lol. Robert's private investigator pulled me out of a south indies rain forest where I was shacked up with 4 ft pygmy models,.....thanks bud,lol Y'all miss me now but I'll be back in the spring when I wrap up these projects I'm working on and we'll see if that sentiment still stands, lmao. But I miss ya'll too, very much, I'll be back as soon as time allows For anyone taking notes,....If you REALLY want to find me,....unexpected plane tickets in my email seem to work, lol. Gracias Amigo!!!
  4. Braided cable leashes. One on each side, cam anchored internally to a piston type absorber.
  5. Merry Christmas everyone!!!! Whew,...where to start. I took on a few side projects this fall and have been up to my ears in work. (no short jokes please, lol) I'm working with the state on a project (non fishing related) that has me being pulled in 10 directions. A few personal issues came up and then Christmas struck at UPS. What a crazy 1/2 yr. Anyway, I'll be back in force this spring but had to stop home for the holidays and give the family a big hug Big Hug. Hoping everyone is happy and healthy and catching fish!! Have a great Christmas everyone!!!!
  6. What up Hookem? Keeping those grades up ?
  7. He is ,however, renting his mods out. Anyone with a sister, friend or cousin that works at Hooters, or cheers professionally for any NFL, MLB or NBA team. I'm available. Cheap.
  8. you would think the price could come down a little, I mean,...they no longer have the cost of dealing with that pesty Juniors division. I'd like to think the kids didn't get the shaft for nothing but with the BASS track record being what it is, I should know better than to expect anything. TBf on the other hand has stepped up for the kids bigtime. (just for the record, I'm affiliated with neither of the 2)
  9. Why do people have to tear up on someone who doesn't "look" like they do. This little guy could be the friendliest little fish in the lake. Always helping the older fish cross the creek channel, teaches fry how to hide and then how to hunt later when they get a little bigger. Helped that Pickerel get that spinnerbait out of it's mouth,...just the nicest guy,....but all anyone ever sees is his deformed mug. He just wants to be judged on how hard he fought, not what he looks like,....poor thing. ;D
  10. That was a terrible night..... ;D
  11. Sorry guys, I've been MIA for a while now, it's been an absolutely nuts summer. Like always, I got my hand in too many cookie jars at once, lol. My fishing partners are wondering if I sold the boats My parents were pretty sure they had 3 kids once,... My girlfriend is someone elses by now probably,lol,...even my cat is giving me an attitude. I wanted to check in to let everyone know that I'm just strapped for time right now, but there is no hidden story, no good gossip for behind the scenes, I can only imagine what kind of rumors Burley and Mike have been spreading...stirring the pot. :-? : so no, no drama, just no time. I have to get things back in perspective soon or I'll never see the lake again. I think there are a few greenies that miss me!!
  12. He is,.....Pop tarts for the kids and beer for the parents to help put up with kids in the house for 48 hrs straight, lol He may be from Tennessee, but I think he's been through a hurricane or 2 before, he's got the survival kit memorized anyway ;D
  13. Wow, I'm really sorry guys,...well, not Burley, I'll never apologize to you, I know better....and Muddy,...not my fault, I got 17 other requests to black out your face or butt crack, depending on what you sent in but maltese,....seriously, sorry bud. ok, I'm sorry to Burly and Muddy too,lol,.....These things are a PITA to keep organized, I lose a few in every one,....I do it to keep ya hanging around to get in the next one, be flattered, lol Sorry guys but I'm glad the rest of you enjoyed it.
  14. Absolutely. Bigger fish are going to move deeper. Caught me a pig yesterday, 93 degrees, bluebird, 14 fow
  15. Great role models,...great way to lead by example,...GO NFL!! :
  16. People with $ are still just people
  17. lol, he wanted to post in the general section...."How much does this weigh"? ..........I made his dad ground him for a week, lmao
  18. Thanks everyone!! Robert- I said GUNMETAL GREY!!! Is this red thing on the flatbed a joke?? d**n that attention span! Glenn,....How'd you know?? Michelle and I are spending the night out on Block Island, she got us a b&b for the night. Her dad will be out in the morning with the 25' center console to go scare some Stripers....yeeha!!!!
  19. Personally, I like the look of replica's better but that's only second place to the fact that I would NEVER remove such high quality genetics from my home lake.
  20. Surely y'all remember Dirk's oldest boy, "Nicky the grease" from THIS video clip, well he's a tad older now but still the same remarkable kid. The stuff that comes out of his mouth is priceless,....here's his latest BIG NICK
  21. A Florida senior citizen drove his brand new Corvette convertible out of the dealership. Taking off down the road, he floored it to 80mph, enjoying the wind blowing through what little hair he had left. "Amazing!" he thought as he flew down I-75, pushing the pedal to The metal even more! Looking in his rear view mirror, he saw the highway patrol behind him, blue lights flashing and "I can get away from him. No problem!" thought the elderly gent as he floored it to 100 mph, then 110, then 120 mph. Suddenly, he thought, "What on earth am I doing? I'm too old for this nonsense!", pulled over to the side of the road and waited for the Trooper to catch up. Pulling in behind him, the Trooper walked up to the driver's side of the Corvette, looked at his watch and said, "Sir, my shift ends in 30 minutes. Today is Friday. If you can give me a reason why you were speeding that I've never he ard before, I'll let you go." The man, looking very seriously at the Trooper, said, "Years ago, my wife ran off with a Florida State Trooper. I thought you were bringing her back. " "Have a good day, Sir," said the Trooper.
  22. Can anyone prove this? Ever see it documented anywhere? I have saltwater hooks that are rusted and 10 yrs old, they still exist though. I've just yet to see or hear a biologist say this is true. I personally, find it VERY hard to believe.
  23. Couple points -back supports are dangerous and often misused. The issue of kidny belts comes up all the time at UPS. There is a reason we will not wear them. These belts are designed to support you DURING a heavy lift. You'll notice weight lifter do the lift and take the belt off, they are not for all daily wear. What happens (according to Liberty mutual) is the stomach muscles become dependent and weaken and the circulation to the bodies core is greatly disturbed. There ARE braces that help though, the neoprene wrap ones with no support. They essentially just keep the muscles warm but when worn too tight, they are counter productive. what I do is I elevate 1 foot. An old kitchen trick from my Nana. When working in the kitchen for hours, she would drag the step stool around and when standing at the counter for any length of time, 1 foot would be up on the stool. Change which foot often.
  24. Caleb, first and foremost,...congrats on your Beta Club achievement. That stands out to me more than anything,...KEEP IT UP!! Secondly, you state you are a tournament fisherman but there are no "tournament results". No history of where you placed in the tournaments. "about me" could go alot deeper. Fishing styles, your power techniques, # of tournaments/yr etc. Being a resume, companies also want to know what's in it for them? How will you create impressions for them, etc. Add all that.
  25. You need to be 18 to enter into a legal contract. Most companies don't want to deal with this. Sometimes you can get a few freebies but for the most part, they want to see an adult. One way to get a foot in the door young is to win the Jr's for your state. Lots of those kids (quite a few are members here) have developed relationships that way. Even then, it's mostly a "product in exchange for exposure" type of deal, not a pro staff position. Understand, to work the pro staff, first, you need to be a pro. Second, you need a license so you can drive to work (convention centers, tournies, factory, retail stores, etc.) That's just the beginning
