  1. Hear THAT Brent?..............MOONASHINE! (lol) I have a knack for finding that stuff in the woods,...we may have to take a walk.
  2. With the budget cuts and changes to BASS Youth all happening in such a small time frame, it's hard for anyone not to notice. My point was that I would assume that FLW would put together a game plan to go capture what BASS doesn't want. I see the JWC's being stellar in 5 yrs, concentrate all this upcoming talent.
  3. Works fine for me, I am on Firefox, it may be an IE compatibility issue. Dixon, I'll let them know and I'm sure they will appreciate the heads up, thanks bud.
  4. Now Now, No need to burn a bridge Autographs will ONLY be given in Kentucky from April 5-10. No exceptions, sign up or miss out.
  5. I've noticed since ESPN took over BASS, the youth program has not so slowly gone to poop. Has FLW been taking advantage of this in your state or are the youth still staying with BASS? I don't really know what each offers anymore but figured some of you might know what the ranks are doing. I DO know that FLW is sponsoring 4 CAST events this year
  6. Oxygen with an Imitrex chaser > Seriously though, with my migraines my diet goes to crap. I'll suck down a muscle milk to keep something in the system but.....
  7. No, you have a point, if you think you hit a dead end with something, throw it at the board, can't hurt and we have folks from all walks of life here with all kinds of different talents and training who might be able to help. Can't hurt.
  8. The Brenton point REEF is an area that made me alot of money back in the day.
  9. Mike got it, please post in the boating section.
  10. I'm hoping it has affected the swimbait market. I am introducing some knock off baits this yr. No more paying $50 for a MS Slammer type bait.
  11. Be VERY careful near running water when it's this cold. Pay attention and use your head.
  12. When I go to a tackle shop, I look to see if they carry swimbaits. If they do, I see if they might be interested in selling identical baits that cost 1/2 as much. If not, I explain why they might want to consider it and offer a consignment trial deal.
  13. ;D You know how it is.... gotta be inspired. I have a real hard time going out trying to make some shots "happen" It's one of the things that turned me off about photography in college. Having to "make" an assignment happen in order to get a grade. What I did was I took a night class just to learn. Didn't apply towards making graduation or anything as school was long since over. Because of this, although they were "assignments",...I didn't care about the grade so didn't perceive any pressure, instead it was fun. It was just a class on the basics, no developing, but it explained alot of the techniques and mechanics. One thing I learned is that w/o having an eye for composition, all the technique in the world doesn't matter. It's how a person combines the 2 that differentiates the level of their art. (IMO)
  14. Matt's full line of outdoor photos will be available at www.LowBudgetHookers.com, all sizes and formats available, lmao. Matt, keep laughing but I've always considered trying to offer my stuff up for sale online, if we teamed up, there would be plenty for folks to choose from. I never knew that you too were a shutterbug. I'm the same way though, since digital, my Canon a-1 and Monilta srt-201 have become dust collectors
  15. Thanks for the mini education, great reply.
  16. The idea definitely works but those won't stand upright for very long. You need a wider footprint.
  17. If that's a tricky way of saying everything gets fuzzy, then I agree.
  18. Own a bunch, use 1 7'11" Crucial MF H
  19. Banned ;D
  20. OWNED ;D Not going against your opinion Burl-esque, we all know how you hate that ;D :,....but Catt couldn't have presented the facts better. I agree 100% with his line of thought. Visor light for rigging, etc and ALL YOU GOT when running. Keep it simple, hone the senses you already have, it's a different level, really connects you. reminder-blacklights are only a help if you are fishing mono. Other than that, they only mess up your depth perception, annoy the other guy fishing with you if it's on your head, and make your teeth look funny. The fish don't care what your teeth look like.
  21. For me, it would depend on the celeb. I would only use the Jimmy rod at the hatchery, where the fish are caged. DOH! Just kidding, I have a signed Torpedo lure,...I refuse to use it. :-/
  22. 1/8oz finesse jig/craw trailer but my next one will be on a Working Girl Wake Bait This yr I hope
