Size is an issue too, size 3 for a 2/0 Owner st-41? Remember, the bottom hardware on a slammer that these attach to, is very thick.

Some of you know and some don't but back in the day, I used to build a "Members Video" every time we welcomed another 1000 members. Well,...we grew so d**n quick that I had to tone back a bit. It was becoming too much work when combined with the other 2 jobs, 10 projects and the mandatory fishing that was on my plate. Well, I think 20,000 members is a great time to launch another one. If for no other reason than as a Thank You to Glenn and Keri for sticking with it and building the best d**n resource for bass fishing out there. The fact that they were able to make it feel like a home at the same time just adds to the understanding of how much effort, time and thought it took. So, what is a members video? What we do is I ask anyone interested,..ANYONE, to submit to my SPECIFIC EMAIL ACCOUNT (no PM'd pics pls) a picture of yourself showing off a nice largemouth, smallmouth or striper. I then compile them all in a slideshow to music. NEW THIS YEAR We have lots of guys shooting video now. I WANT THOSE TOO!! Video makes the project so much better. I can accept video through the AOL instant messenger program via a "file share" There are other ways but that is the easiest. I'm having the same problem but in waves. Fort a couple hours it will take 1/2 a minute to load, 45 secs if its the reply box. Then,...like right now, it will be fine

Guys,the staff is following this and we all appreciate the input but at the moment, a video section just isn't in the works. We have incorporated video aspects into the site such as being able to embed u-tube type video directly and that alone was no small feat on Glenn's part. Lanzar, pyle, Boss, etc etc,..I'm with ya there,lol The surrounds on the Alum q were a very beefy (for a sound q sub,...but again, how many sound q subs run 1000w consistent and max at 1500?) They were rubber, not foam. The high excursion stuff is also beefy rubber I believe, been a few yrs since I've looked at ANY line (Because I did a quality install with the old equipment and it's still cranking 7 yrs later ) INSTALL IS EVERYTHING fivesixone--RMS,......I think I have one of their albums!! ;D

WORD!! VERY few amps have true ratings anymore. Easy to do as there is no real equation to figure for wattage,...it's an abstract. Brax, Arc Audio,......that's the real stuff. I can only imagine how sick those guys are of answering 1 question. "How come your amp is $3000 and it only offers 200 watts????" ;D classic. My Ma Audio HC2502 is rated at 2500w@1ohm with 17v signal. It cranks, don't get me wrong, but I guarantee it doesn't put out more than 150-200 watts of pure RMS power. I always under power (according to the company specs) the speakers in any install. Extra headroom assists clarity. Ratings are bogus. It's a marketing thing.

T-Rig, I like the idea of the magic eye, I just have zero faith in the quality of Gamakatsu in general. They just cost me tooo much $$ in lost fish. I could understand if it was 1/2 my fault, putting the boots to the fish, over fighting them, but that was not the case. Normal fishing,...straightened hooks. Bummer.

I fully agree, I just don't think guys should have to remortgage the house to get them,lol. The big aim on the baits I am bringing to market is COST/QUALITY I plan to offer the slammer type bait modified to be what the others are not Owner hooks, bulletproof finish, high end O-rings, BOTTOM PATTERNS,....... for $25. 2 for $40. That's a 50% savings when compared to the ones out there now!!!!! With this economy, I hope this helps get more guys into the swimbait scene.

Bravo!! Keeping bass to learn their "habits" doesn't work in an aquarium. Get certified and go study them where you fish if that really is your goal in keeping bass as pets. You'll be amazed at what's down there and how textbook some of their activity really is.
