  1. nice to see the names of some old friends! Everything is going great here back in the East. Recently retired getting into a few different things but loving life overall. And I'm a step dad now! 6 years in and I love these girls like theyre my own. Maybe I'll see you guys on the road trip, where to this year?
  2. retired UPSer. Now I run a registered medical marijuana grow in Rhode Island. I grow for Pediatric epilepsy patients, an MS patient and two cancer patients. These people were all referred to me by Hasbro Children's Hospital period they don't pay a dime for their medicine, it's my way of giving back. I've also been doing some consultation work for entities looking to set up commercial grows in Massachusetts
  3. I just thought I'd let you guys see some BR history including Glenn's PB!
  4. listen "pal".......
  5. Thanks Glenn! How's Kerri? You break the old 9.1 pb yet spinner bait king? :-) You guys still do the annual trip?
  6. well,...im officially retired from UPS after a 25 yr stint, lol My days are now jam-packed. I still grow cannabis for pediatric epilepsy patients and am also doing lots of Consulting work with Massachusetts bringing Full recreational into the game. Helping to set up commercial grows et cetera. Haven't done a ton of fishing in the last few years but I think you all remember Lake X, well Eric, Dirk Jig-Lure ended up buying a nice big house right on the lake so I'm up there once a week or so but not putting in the hours like I used to. Now that I'm My Own Boss Im hoping to change that this year. His dad has also become quite the wooden learn maker. Started off knocking Slammers now he can make me much anything that's made out of wood, cool stuff. I've been with the same girl for the last 6 years and have become step dad to her two daughters. It really is what was missing in my life, I love being a parent. We own a nice big house with a big pool in the backyard and I've taken on mini pigs as pets, lol Couple pics of the new family looks like I need to go read the faQ's to find out how to post a picture in the new format, LOL guess it really has been a while! Anyway, I no longer run events forecast for kids since art Pasley was fired because to me he was cast for kids. I do however still run an event every year down at our state Hatchery which also has seven ponds on the property. The kids have a blast as always. Robert, I didn't realize you were still here. Shoot, I don't even think you fished anymore, LOL. I know we spoke last month about me making my way out there again but it looks like that's on hold now as the work has been flowing in from Massachusetts. Soon tho Amigo, soon

  20. only for people who arent in strong marriages!!
  21. Facebook is priceless for me. I run a private group for legal RI medical Cannabis growers to use as a resource page. It works like a union, we all have each others backs. Example: of the 74 growers involved, we've yet to lose a single plant thru 2 winter storms and 2 hurricanes. Lots of crops in the state were lost but my guys made sure each other were ok. They were running generators all over the state to each other as power came back online. We share genetics, nutrients, pesticides, etc but most of all we share knowledge I also help cancer and MS patients that are recommended to me from RI Hospital to get them set up and supplying meds for themselves. We get them into the group also so there is a plethora of quality growers immediately at their fingertips should an emergency occur and I am not reachable. VERY helpful for many folks. As for regular f/b use, if u use a fake name, you lose much of the purpose. I've found friends I forgot about from high school and many of those friendships have been renewed. I also used it to re-connect with many lost friends from my US skit team career and college as well.
  22. lmao, good one I'd have to say 21 years with UPS which would also be the same time I met my best friend and fishing partner. We started there the same week, working across from each other and one day it began...."oh,...you fish?" Simple words that spawned a 21 yr alliance/competition He still wont throw swimbaits so.....I win,lol This is a fine example of how much more "fishing" is than just chucking a line and hooking a critter. We started off as guys who now had an extra dude to call when there was an empty seat. Then I turned him onto my lake. We fished it for 20 yrs straight. Through these years we discussed marriages, kids, personal struggles, you name it. LOTS of hours together in a boat. I can say with confidence that we view each other as brothers now. Weve proven ourselves to each other time and time again and always come out better in the end, and back in the boat doing what we do. He bought a palace on this same lake this year. It just gets better. :-) Cool thread, I'm kinda glad mine was naturally associated with fishing.......
