  1. dirty hippies
  2. I would get a M if you are looking for an all around rod. I fished with a 7'M for a little while and threw everything from wakers to DD22s without any problems. Now, it wasn't the best rod for deep cranks but it handled them ok.
  3. I use casting gear for all my jerkbaits and I usually fish an owner cultiva 65sp, it weighs around 1/4oz I think. I use a 7'M-XF Zillion with a Daiwa Alphas 103. I don't care too much for spinning gear when fishing jerkbaits but I will throw a fast floater on a spinning rod, just easier for me to work faster.
  4. Just watch KVD fish a red eye shad. He puts way to much energy ripping a bait free.
  5. I like a faster action for topwater and jerkbaits, allows you to work the bait with decreased effort over the M action, I'd say 682c
  6. Got mine in...had no trouble yesterday
  7. that's awesome ;D
  8. I would go with a Crankin' Stick and either an Extreme or Pro Qualifier in the 5.x:1 ratio
  9. : Your in the very small % that would say that. I know.... tried to like them but the two I had felt really stiff and almost grindy. I couldn't get any distance with any brakes or cast control on and one of them started to fall apart. I have a '09 Premier and a '10 SX and really like both of them, I don't know what was wrong with the two I had.
  10. I have fished a PQ, very nice reel, very much worth the price. Never fished a JM Gold but they seem very nice. I wouldn't suggest a Revo S to my worst enemy, had two, both junk.
  11. Curado 200e7, e5, and 50e and Daiwa Sol/Alphas
  12. Probably either Babe I'm Gonna Leave You or All of My Love....but I like alot of their music....or at least did...I can't remember the last time I listened to them on purpose but the last few times they were on the radio I changed the station :-/ .
  13. I really like the BPS tender tubes. They have a very small profile. I have used tubes with "eyes" or that had a shad type color pattern but I always go back to solids with flakes
  14. That sucks that it's not available to buy separately or they aren't a standard size or interchangeable. I've heard alot of people saying how uncomfortable the foam knobs are on the CI4, just what is it that is so uncomfortable about them, I really like mine.
  15. I don't know what was up with the Revos that I had, alot of people like them, I do not. I have had my code for about 4 years and it gets very little use now but I do use it, and haven't had any major problems out of it, just regular cleanings and it preforms wonderfully.
  16. that's what I see when I think of an XS
  17. It's all going to be personal preference and based soley on personal experience, for the most part at least. I personally have never had any trouble with any of my quantums, I have 3 right now but I've had more. The one reel that really left a bad taste in my mouth was the Revo S, I actually had two and both were complete garbage. They both felt tight, grindy, couldn't cast anything under 1/2oz with any real distance without overrun. I really wanted to like them, that's why I bought a second, hoping I got a dud....nope....the second one was just as bad and the cap thing on the palm side fell off and into the drink the second time out with it. Now I have a '10 SX and '09 Premier, no problem with them, extremely smooth and really nice reels but the Revo S?....I'll take my Quantum Code over it anyday.
  18. Is it an older berkley power worm....The egg sack reminds me of the power worms.
  19. I like northstars alien head and the D&L advantage head but I don't really care either way
  20. I fish a jerkbait year round and in muddy water
