I purchased some Paca Craws to try out. The instructions on the pack said to fish'em weightless for best results. So I t-rig the craw with a Gamakatsu EWG 3/0 hook. All the craw did was float on top of the water and never sank. Is this the way the lure is suppose to be fished or am I doing something wrong?? Any advice on how to properly fish this bait??

Thats what i'm hoping for FishBear. I like to write down all the opinions and suggestions and then research them to find which ones suit me.

I'm looking to get a spinning reel and rod for senkos and other light lures. Looking for suggestions on high end reels between $150-$300+. Rods right around the same price range. Any suggestions or opinions would be greatly appreciated.

A local tackle shop about 35-40 mins drive from where I live. Its in Moulton, Alabama.

I just got back from a local tackle shop and got what I think is a sweet deal. I got two 7' Kistler Helium MH/F rods for $160.00 each and two Quantum Energy PT reels (6.3:1 & 7.0:1) for $120.00 each. Sweet deal or not ? What do you guys think ??

Well guys I pulled the trigger today. Bought my very 1st ever bass boat. A 2008 Triton 18 Explorer with a Mercury 115 Optimax, Lowrance X52 depth finder and Motorguide 71 lb. thrust trolling motor. Added hydraulic steering, hot foot and blinker trim. Hopefully it'll be ready to bring home on saturday after all the added stuff has been installed. Man I am pumped and ready!!! I'll be putting to use all the helpful info I received on here about launching a boat very soon. Thanks to everyone that responded to the thread. I'll try and post pics of the boat when I get her home.

Being an inexperienced boater and on the verge of purchasing my 1st ever boat i'm looking for help from all the well experienced boaters on here. When launching your boat solo, what is the best or most trusted methods for this. If at all possible please give detailed info because i'm as green as the grass is green on this matter. Thanks

I just left a dealer of Xpress boats and was looking at a H-18 with a 115 h.p. Yamaha 4stroke. I ask the salesman if hydraulic steering and tilt could be added. He said they dont put hydraulic steering and tilt on anything under 150 h.p. Is this statement true? Do any of ya'll have hydraulic steering and tilt on anything under 150 h.p. ??

Thanks guys for the replies and for the major info on the triton vt. I've talked to several other people and they too have said to stay away from the vt series. Looks like after all my research and info I have collected from others and on here from ya'll I'm gonna focus on the Xpress. Thanks for the help and input!

Thanks Brian for the reply. Im trying to get as much info on my research of these boats before buying as possible. So could you tell me in a little more detail as to why you are not a fan of Tracker ?
