  1. I got a Symetre a little while back, it's definitely been an excellent buy, and I am very happy with it. Great reel for the price, hopefully it continues to perform years from now.
  2. Yeah didn't get a chance to head over to BPS today, so no new reel yet. I would be using it for crank baits, as I have a spinning reel set up for worms and soft plastics n stuff. But, yeah thanks for the help, I greatly appreciate it.
  3. That is probably what I'm leaning toward, if I go with the 100 I'll get the 6'6" MM and if I go with the 200 D I'll go ahead and get the 7' MF. Thanks. Also, is Ugly Stik a good brand?
  4. Lol, I've read like a hundred things about that, keeping my thumb on it will be the first thing on my mind lol.
  5. Hey fellas, I'm probably going to get a Citica tomorrow, and it will be my first bait caster, what size rod should I go with? and what brand? lb of line? Also if you have any tips about helping me learn how to use it, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks again.
  6. Horrible stuff, sometimes you don't even realize how close you are to this fate, this should definitely make everyone think a bit more, I know I will. I really feel bad for families that go through this.
  7. Thanks for the heads up, I woulda made the mistake of buying up here, but yeah, I'll be down there around June 15thish, so I'll shoot you one then. Thanks.
  8. Yeah I've been reading a lot of the Begginer articles, and they are excellent, I've really learned a lot in a very short period of time. Looks like I'm gonna have to start figuring out some jigs and give them a try, thanks for your help guys, and it's nice to meet yall.
  9. Yeah, I sort of did a little of that today, talking to a few guys about what's been working and what not. I guess the good thing is, I'm not completely new to Bass Fishing, since I have been around it awhile, and know how to do some of the stuff, it's just there is a lot more I need to know, lol. But yeah. I've pretty much figured some of that out.
  10. Hey my name is Cole, I'm new to here, and relatively fairly new into Bass fishing. I just started getting interested into it about a month ago and haven't even had the chance to get my lure selection, tackle box, and equipment set up. I live in North Carolina for about 3 or 4 more weeks before I will be moving down to Plant City Florida where I will be going to college soon and working. So anyway, I will probably be getting more involved when I move down to Florida and have the summer to get all set up. I've been reading the forums for a little bit and decided I might as well join in. You all have already helped me quite a bit. Alright, now for a bit of a question or poll type thing. If you were putting together a Tackle Box / Lure Selection and rod and reel from scratch what are you going with? I mainly want to see where to start with. I pretty much already have trick worms and shakey heads in along with a couple spinners and a couple Rapalas. Other than that I have open space and an open mind, I'm really looking to learn a lot, because I intend on doing this for a long time. Thanks a lot, and it's very nice to meet you all. Sorry if this intro thing shoulda been in Tackle section!
