  1. I'm gonna fish a tourney on Norman on June 5th. I have 3 spinning and 2 baitcast rigs. Any suggestions on lures, rigs, jigs????? I may get to pre-fish one time before, depends on work. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  2. JUst watched the Elite series tournament on Clear Lake. That was not a Duckett rod that Velvick used for his swimbait. Looked like a G.Loomis to me. I'm so sick of all the crap. Even Tackle Tour had a article about him winning with a duckett rod. BullCrap... And when espn puts up the graphic for what he used it even said Duckett Fishing Rod. BullCrap on top of BullCrap. Enough allready!!!!!!! :-/
  3. I use the Lake Fork Live Magic Shad all the time. I keep one on a spinning rig, Owner Twist-lock swimbait hook. It works great for skipping way back under docks. Sometimes the fish has it before I even start to reel it back in. Set the hook hard, alot of plastic there. ;D
  4. Has anyone tried or have a review of this line? I like to line watch but would like the line to be hard for the fish to see. If this line does what it says it does, could be alot simpler than dealing with leaders on hi-viz line colers.
  5. Does anyone have this combo? I'm looking for a strong combo to use for froggin' and flippin/pitchin. I would like it to be a decent muti-purpose combo. Somewhere in the $200 - $275 range. Any suggestions????
  6. I don't have anywhere to get yozuri that is close. What is the next best option for 2000 & 2500 sized spools. Bought some CXX in 10# & 12# that I can use on baitcasters. Everyone says I'll hate it on spinning gear.I've been using Stren Mono, just looking for an upgrade with less stretch and more sensitivity. :-/
  7. Just bought some cxx.10# for spinning and 12# for baitcasters. I've never used before, just hoping to get some opinions on this line and what's the best knot or knots to use.
  8. The Boaters World in Mooresville,NC is going out of buisiness and all the fishing gear is 50% off. Alot of things are already picked through but there was still alot of RageTail plastics in stock. I got a bag full for less than $35 !!!!!
  9. Sometimes guys on this site jump on the bad side of things a little to quickly. First off,as someone else said, you dont have to spend alot of $$$$ to try. They sell individual packs just like other worms. Second they look nothing like other worms, dropshot, leech or otherwise. They have the S shape even without the snap on the worm. After a little research the company is working on a national retail sales and distribution plan. They sell online only right now because they are a small company and are just getting started. So I hope you negative guys write them off as a gimmick, and I'll see you at the weigh in!!!
  10. Has anyonr tried these worms. They look to be a great new idea for soft plastic. About as new or different than anything I have seen lately! The snap in the tail looks like it will really help the bait have a swimming or bouncing action. I think the bouncing would be great on a shakey head. ;D
  11. I got the big green t1200 with 8 large boxes inside for $21,on the clearance shelf. The regular price was $45. Great bag for the money.
  12. I would like to learn how to double rig super flukes. Maybe a picture would be the easy way for me to figure it out.
  13. Just wondering how you guys fished these plastic minnows. My wife got me a bag of smoke shad, she said they looked cool. Also what size and type of hook.
  14. Does anyone have any info on when the new quantum reels and rods will be on sale? The new tour pt looks awesome!!
  15. These look like a cool bait. I was wondering the best ways to rig and fish them. Bought some today in watermellon/red.
  16. 1st time posting!!!!! I need a good hook that will help with gullet hook removal. I saw the diagrams for hook removal, but I want to be as easy on the fish as possible. I am getting better at seeing and feeling the bites, but still getting a few deep hooked.
