  1. You can save yourself $4 per bottle if you go to the mfg. site and buy the "cosmetic-special". Nothing wrong with the product. Labels have blemishes. http://cleverinnovations.net/details/category/4/prodid/83/ Shortbasser
  2. You might be able to get some help here. http://www.motortechva.com Talk to Tom. He is the owner/tech and knows his trolling motors. Shortbasser
  3. U-40 cork seal available from Cabela's works just fine. Keeps the tacky feel and only requires water and a rag to clean afterwards. I wipe my rod blanks with a silicone cloth made by Birchwood Casey also available from Cabela's. Shortbasser
  4. Check here: http://www.animatedknots.com
  5. No doubt a replacement part available for it. The warranty is probably a toss-up on how long you have owned it. A good place for info to find out is here. http://www.motortechva.com/ The place is in Suffolk and you can get the 800 number off the website. Ask to talk to Tom. He is the owner. Shortbasser
  6. New packaging now available for Mend-it. Should solve the drying out problem. They say it should have a 2 year shelf life now. Glass bottles in 1/2 oz. and 1 oz. with a brush applicator. $7 and $12. Info is on their website. Shortbasser

  9. Hook holster. Made by Faultline Outdoors. Avail at BPS or you can order direct from Faultline and save yourself some $$. www.faultlineoutdoors.com. I have them on all my rods. Work great. Shortbasser
  10. Hang onto that rig. I live in Va. Beach and run a Skeeter and have been fishing West Neck Creek for over 30 years. It dumps into the North Landing River (intercoastal waterway). I am about 20 minutes from the water. You can also fish the Northwest River. Only catch there is it just happens to run into NC and you have to be aware of where your at if you don't have a NC license. There are tournaments on both waters most weeks. I will zip you a PM with my contact info and if and when you head this way give me a shout. Shortbasser
  11. PM sent shortbasser, yor link was not complete. please send me the link again. thank you. thanks fourbizz---will do. Check your PM's again. Had to cheat the system. Shortbasser
  12. I skin hook it. It will pop loose but I haven't had a problem getting it hung up. Just have to be careful of those sharp hooks! when you rig it. Shortbasser
  13. If it is the regular Ribbit and not the Floater you can get a better hook-up ratio using the Stanley Double Take Hook. I use it and it helps. The Double Take Hook will sink the Floater version. Shortbasser
  14. I have been keeping my rig in a public storage lot/shed since the day I got it. Access is from 7:00AM-10:00 PM. The City of Virginia Beach has an ordinance that keeps all boats and RV's from the front of your house. It can be alongside of the house but back behind the front. I live in a townhouse so I have no choice but to comply. It is permissable to keep it in the driveway over-night for loading/unloading. No on street parking permitted. During the summer I push the issue and keep it in the driveway since I am fishing a good bit. I have been given a notice in the past. Grumpy neighbors will turn me in. I now keep those folks happy with a few fish and so far this summer no notices. It's a pain but we live with it. If you come to town with a boat and trailer and park it in a driveway or on the street they will find it and give you a notice. So much for catering to the tourists. We are a big time salt water fishing area. Just don't bring your rig to town and park it where it is visible. Shortbasser
  15. Never leave home without it. Best soft plastic glue I ever used. It will not glue your fingers together like super glues. Dries quick. Has saved me a few bucks too. Shortbasser
