Very tragic, senseless incident. I read the mother passed away at the hospital and the 10 year girl is sole surviving member of the family whose boat was hit. I hope this brave young girl is getting support from extended family and the local community...

IMHO, I think the addition of PG will open things up a bit for Westbrook, he's a more consistent shooter/scorer and better defender than Oladipo. As for Iguodala hearing what other teams have to say, it's the right thing to do. Then everyone knows what his market value is and can make decisions accordingly. I didn't hear anything about Rudy Gay and the Dubs, but did read he was mentioned as an option for OKC. He's coming back from season ending surgery, and teams maybe a little hesitant this early unless it's under the right terms. And Rubio is an interesting situation, and there's no question he's a great passer and a good defender. I think after his time in Minnesota, the brain trust had seen enough. Other than the second half of last season he's only shot for a high percentage from the free throw line unless of course the T-wolves were playing the Dubs. If he has turned the corner and continues to improve as a shooter, then the Jazz made out very well. With Teague's shooting opposing teams have to honor it and play defense more straight up and not help off Rubio. Looks like the 6ers are gonna pay Reddick...

PG going to OKC was a good move in the present, and I'm pretty sure all the teams in the East are glad the Cavs didn't get him. Having PG may prevent the type of late game offensive stagnation that took place when Westbrook went to the bench during the Houston series. OKC was able to jettison Oladipo's contract, but had no choice regarding Sabonis being part of the deal. And regarding OKC's ability to retain Westbrook and PG at the end of next season, well that's a good problem to have. I agree Reddick is a good shooter, just curious what you think of the Rudy Gay rumors. The Dubs definitely took care of Curry, locked up Livingston, and are going to be patient as Iguodala tests the waters. I think everyone's gotta agree the NBA definitely keeps things interesting during the off-season

PG to OKC, after Rubio traded to the Jazz, and now Griffin is gonna re-sign with the Clips for 5 and 173 million?! Things are happening and I'm wondering if Boston is going to get something done with Heyward. I was really surprised by the PG to OKC though...

Hello boudroux, sounds like you've got quite a nice trip planned up north. I'm surprised you haven't received more responses, but I'm sure it's due to everyone is out on the water! Folsom should be fun, I haven't been there in 20 years and only caught spots and smallies. As for where to stay and fish the Delta, Terminous is a pretty good choice the northern part of the Delta and I understand the campground is nice. If you want to be a little more centrally located (Franks Tract), maybe check out Sugar Barge and Russo's Marina. Safe me travels and good fishing, JB

I'd have to agree given the situations involving Melo and Porzingis. I read this morning Phil's wage was 50k a DAY, must be (or have been) nice. With front office shake ups and all the projected movement via free agency and trades, I am looking forward to the fireworks of July as every team will be try to get better.

I might watch for a little bit, just to to see what personnel moves are made. Should be interesting considering all the front office moves and trades/ trade rumors since the Finals. As for the draft itself, the funny thing is after watching the movie "Draft Day" with Kevin Costner, the Mrs now likes to watch both the NFL and NBA drafts. I look forward to everyone's comments tomorrow after the dust settles. Otherwise, finishing up "Narcos" on Netflix.

I just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Fathers Day! It's gonna be around 106 today, so the family is taking me out to breakfast this morning. And I'll probably spend the day in the pool and BBQing. Haven't been to Lake Elizabeth in 25 years and I didn't know how old your nephew was when I posted. If people still feed the ducks there then you might also try a small, salmon egg sized piece of dough on a small hook as well. Again, just trying to get the little guy a chance to catch a fish, because if he doesn't he isn't going to want to go. Our job when fishing with little ones is putting bait on the hook, casting, untangling lines, and celebrating them catching a fish. When they want to go, happily pack up and head to the car...
