  1. If anything they’d like him as close to 100% for the game with LA in LA. Guerendo might get a few snaps as well.
  2. @gimruis and @Bird, I think a lot of discussion is taking place with Tua, particularly given the circumstances involving Junior Seau, who first comes to mind, and current CTE information.
  3. Absolutely, kinda taking Miami’s defense apart.
  4. 27-10 at half? I gotta say this is surprising
  5. I on the other hand am fully vaccinated and I did get COVID. The misconception with the vaccine was it would fully prevent one from contracting the virus. In some cases it may be true, but for the majority it was to help mitigate the symptoms of the virus. Everyone’s immune system is different for various reasons. I also get a flu and pneumonia shot every year at my doctor’s recommendation and I can’t remember the last time I had a cold or flu. I’d like to add as we get older a shingles vaccination is not a bad idea.
  6. Great read @Bluebasser86 and great job working through the adversity for 2nd place! Good luck with the TOC
  7. Wait what!?! A Sgt. Joe Friday quote! I got hooked, (not quite like @Alex from GA) reeled in and landed! 😁
  8. Those “first responders” mentioned above were NYPD officers who arrived on scene, assisted building occupants in leaving the towers and secured the area for fire and emergency personnel to arrive on scene. Over 3000 citizens lost their lives on that day and unfortunately many others after, primarily due to cancer. In remembrance of this tragic event, lives lost and the heroism shown by NYPD, FDNY, emergency personnel and passengers on the planes, citizens on scene helping where they could the colors are posted out front of my house. I know where I was and haven’t forgotten. God bless America and those who protect her…..
  9. @Ohioguy25 I’m gonna start by saying YouTube is your friend. I’ll suggest maybe looking up a video of “how to change the drag washers” on a reel you own because this will give you insight and confidence as to how you should move forward. I found the key in disassembling your reel is to lay out each part as I removed it from the reel with reassembly just in reverse order. I had a couple of JDM TD Zillions that I’d send to Japan and have Jun Sonoda tune them up. Jun suggested that I could do it, and if I had any questions he’d be happy to answer them. Well, Jun was right and currently the entire Bass Resource community is here to help and support anyone with their reel project.
  10. Absolutely, many times over in this thread and as with your boat the pride in a job well done shows through!
  11. @Motoboss, every time I see pictures of how well your project boat turned out, I just think how it looks like a war canoe or Viking longboat minus the shields. Very cool boat and I hope you enjoy many years of good fishing with it.
  12. Congrats on your new ride @boostr, great looking boat! I just got to ask, what are your thoughts on the Suzuki? I know from personal experience it’s really nice not having to buy two stroke oil and most four strokes in my neck of the woods are running Mercs or Yammy’s.
  13. Mason seems to be picking up the slack. Gotta go with the side of caution at this stage of the season with McCaffrey, when all’s good he’ll be on the field.
  14. Hey @gimruis I’ve been following this thread and sounds like you’re taking a step in the right direction in getting things resolved. I believe the rowers might collectively need to be educated and it might be suggested they restrict their activities to a certain section of the lake. However, I believe “the doctrine of the last chance” regarding the collision could be applicable just as it would to a traffic accident on a roadway. I look forward to your reporting back and how the information could help us out on the water.
  15. Looks great @ATA! Hope the fires get under control ASAP, there is no loss of life and property loss is minimal.
  16. I’m a Niners fan and I approve this message 😀. However like you said it’s s a long season and the Niners have yet to play. Just got to see how it starts to shake out after 6-8 games. In other news, after Thursday night’s game it’s good to see the NFL officials are continuing to crack down on offensive lineman lining up in the backfield. And after one game my March 12th post is looking pretty good, considering how Cousins day went…
  17. McCaffrey is reported to be working through a calf/Achilles injury but is expected to play tomorrow night’s game.
  18. @looking45I appreciate the PSA on this issue. The Mrs and I both got vaccinated when they first came out because we wanted to travel and being vaccinated was an understandable requirement. I’ve already calendared a call Into my doctor for the COVID, flu, and pneumonia shots. I’ll usually get them in my casting arm to help me workout any kinks. Since we’re all individuals, we all have a choice regarding our own health care.
  19. Ahhh, I’m gonna say that bass weighs about 5 pounds. But don’t kayak guys prefer using a measuring board? So 20-21 inches. Nice fish none the less @Ohnooze
  20. I’m happy they posted the schedule, some interesting fisheries. As for coming out West, I’m fine with the Delta and Clear Lake being left off it. From my understanding of things, communities that paid up didn’t realize the financial benefits they were expecting to receive in hosting a tournament. And last time out you got to pay $300-$500 for the privilege of being a “Marshal”. Add in travel distances for the pros, lack of ancillary support, and sticker shock in regards to rooms, gas and food it’s understandable why the circuit doesn’t go west of the Rockies. I think the MLF Team format would work well on the Delta or Columbia River but that ain’t gonna happen. Now I’ve got to get back figuring out my cheese pairing over the FFS conversation.
  21. Yup, just weird. Maybe just line up and punt the ball like a sandlot game.
  22. Interesting first game of the season, especially the officiating. Apparently, offense linemen in the backfield is a major point of focus when it pertains to Baltimore last night. And what, anyone can call timeout cause they’re really not not rules, they’re more like guidelines? I have to agree with you @Texas Flood regarding Baltimore’s line play. Early on KC was focused on stopping Derick Henry making the offense one dimensional and they were definitely successful. Some of Jackson’s runs seemed to me at times were more by design than pass protection breaking down. Their line play in the fourth quarter was much better allowing Lamar to stretch the field and almost tie the game. As for KC, they didn’t look like they missed a beat, appeared to have improved their team speed and are the AFC favorites for a reason.
  23. I inherited mine from my Dad when he passed away from leukemia, it was one of his favorite rods. It’s a gray blank with green wraps and is a dedicated spinnerbait rod for which I believe it is well suited.
  24. Started out this morning at the top of the tide with 73 degree water temps and the slightest breeze. And yes, I figured there’d be a topwater bite to begin the day only to find out it wasn’t happening. As the tide fell, sun got higher and the air temperature streaked towards triple digits I once again found them under the mats. This was my best fish of the day, a 3.52lber that hammered my creature bait as it went through the mat.
  25. Good luck and good fishing RW!
