  1. Good to see a new BR member catchin’ fish and postin’ pics. Nice fish @Micaiah Lindquist and sounds like one heck of a day, one a lot of us are looking forward to a we get further into spring!
  2. Hello @Micaiah Lindquist from Northern California, welcome to Bass Resource and the Forums! And an early congratulations for graduating high school. Good luck in college or what ever path you decide to take and continued good fishing!
  3. I didn’t want to mention Verlander but when you’re getting what appears to be 4” off the outside corner, Hall of Fame calls…
  4. Along time ago I asked “what color should I throw?” And I was told “you can throw any color you like as long as it’s green pumpkin.” And I pretty much do just that, except for a few packages of colors which I thought would work better. YMMV cause I know mine has ?
  5. Hello @wonkyrig from Northern California, welcome to Bass Resource and the Forums!
  6. Hello @airshot from Northern California, welcome to Bass Resource and the Forums!
  7. Hello @Buzter from Northern California, welcome to Bass Resource and the Forums!
  8. My understanding as well. I’ve never fished there either. My neighbor took his boys up there last year and they had 50 fish days in the 5-8lb range. I just wanted to give @MassBass some options even though his Dad lives up there and probably knows about it.
  9. Currently Rivian is experiencing supply chain issues. * I guess it goes without saying if you’re gonna launch a boat like that it’s probably a good idea someone is in it.
  10. PSA- as of 1100 it was reported that Clear Lake is full at 7.6’ so good for the fish and fishing.
  11. Sorry this is a couple days late football fans, but I thought I should make mention…. Rest in Peace Bud Grant, outdoorsman, leader of the Purple Gang and coach of one of my favorite teams growing up. It was good to see you in the stands during the Vikings recent playoff game and thanks for a lot of great football over the years. Godspeed
  12. A terrible call and like the announcer said, the umpire just wanted to go home. And then there’s the instant replay where “we just want to get the call right” and yet the New York Replay Center struggles to get it correct without making the umpire look bad. And I don’t want to get started on a “liberal” strike zone versus “getting squeezed” depending on who’s pitching or which half of the inning it is. But hey, the game has provided many great family moments and entertainment over the years
  13. Thought this would be informative cause that’s a couple bucks in the water ?
  14. Ahhhh, the “nectar of the gods” as I enjoy a cup of Peets while I type my reply. I’ve been drinking coffee daily since I was 12 when I’d get up at 0500 and start folding my papers before peddling off and begin my paper route. Later, it was just part of the work culture no matter the job. Now it seems energy drinks are preferred by some people instead of coffee.
  15. Tulles, Brazilian Waterweed (Hydrilla), and Hyacinth-Uruguain Primrose-Pennywort
  16. Good luck with your trip @MassBass and the suggestions by @camman, @WRB, and @PressuredFishing are great advice. I know you didn’t plan on hiring a guide, but you might give Pyramid Lake and its monster Lahontan cutthroat trout some consideration. On YouTube, Wilderness with Amani would be a good resource posts a lot of content fishing Tahoe (and other Sierra lakes and rivers) with a c-rig using powerbait or a nightcrawler to catch rainbow and brown trout. I hope this helps a little bit and enjoy your time fishing ‘cause we want to see some pictures!
  17. I was surprised by a report on this morning’s news that Mammoth Mountain, which is where a lot of Southern California residents go skiing, is projected to surpass 600 inches of snow (an all time record) with this week’s storms. In my younger days, 290 inches of base up in Tahoe was considered a lot of snow. It’s looking like the spring skiing season could possibly extend into July. It’s good to finally get the water for fish, farms, residential and our business needs. Since our current weather patterns are one of plenty in regards to precipitation it’s important that other leeves and infrastructure hold and communities that have been affected get help in as soon as possible.
  18. My stickbait setup is a G Loomis GLX 842c with a Daiwa 103 Type F…
  19. The stuff has saved me a couple of times from going to the ER and getting stitches
  20. Congratulations @PawleysDude on your new Personal Best and beautiful bucketmouth! Great job sir and continued good fishing!
  21. @NorthernBasser, just some more information and Teckle did mention something about them being made from the original molds.
  22. Definitely look like the original Vixen. Nice haul * my apologies, but I meant the RI Repo Man. And in checking I don’t believe the original Repo Man came with a split ring either
  23. I seemed to have a lot idle time waiting for some dry, stable weather and busy hands occupying a keyboard to surf old fishing videos and tackle sites. Next thing I know it’s Christmas all over again ?
  24. Looks like you were able to fish A LOT of structure with current @ATA, with easy drive up access. If you have family there I hope everyone is doing well.
  25. Wait to you interview a candidate that’s taking the interview for “practice”.
