Automatic memories come to mind of my Dad throwing these on a calm evening across the still waters of the red clay bank ponds of North Carolina back in the mid 60’s…..
Glad you enjoyed your experience with Peet’s Coffee @LrgmouthShad. If it wasn’t for Alfred Peet teaching those Starbucks guys how to properly roast coffee beans back in their days in Berkeley the coffee scene as we know it would possibly be much different.
* as I enjoy a cup of Peet’s French Roast ?
I’ve been retired awhile now and I get to fish if and when I want on any given day. The other days are occupied with various tasks that I get to pace myself in completing. Retirement was everything that everyone said it would be, but what I haven’t shared is I didn’t expect to bury both my parents within 2 years of my retiring from the job. Family is important and I hope everyone enjoys their time together before and after their retirement.
And for those who have recently retired or are about to…. Congratulations, you’ve earned it.
I don’t know, it’s just my own way of looking at it. After all it’s a big ocean and your package is probably gonna arrive in roughly 3 days and extremely well wrapped. Good fishing to you
^^^ since White River Marine took over it pretty much has taken a more strict control of their replacement part’s inventory than Ranger did. Without a model number it’ll be a little bit difficult for some of us to help out @Hawgfinder. As @Jig Man mentions above, your best bet is to give White River Marine give them a call and have your hull number handy. Good luck
I don’t know @Bird, the man’s in his 80’s so if it works for him, good for him. I’m sure his mindset is a couple shots of grease at the ramp is better than being stuck on the side of the highway with frozen bearings, not to mention much cheaper.
