not to mention they have every color skirt color/ combination you can imagine! I dont think he list all his colors on his site bc he had alot more at the expo then what he has listed on his site.
I always go for my limit now....i use to catch my self spending too much time lookin for that kicker fish. When i started filling my limit 1st i started doing alot better and even won couple T's last year. After i get my limit thats when i start searchin for the hawg! One T i fished i had my limit with in the 1st hour so i had the rest of the time to hunt!
they make good quality spinnerbaits and jigs...when they were at richmond expo i had dave make me 3 spinnerbaits and 5 jigs!

I was wondering how to get lake/river water line stains off the side of my all-weld aluminum grizzly with out taking paint off?? Ive tried simple cleaners and a scrub pad barely doing anything to the stain! Its some tough chit!! The boats only 1yr old so not like its been sitting for years. Any suggestions?
upper james & new river always produce nice smallies every year! Small jigs, senkos, flukes, dropshot, shallow runnin cranks, jerkbaits, topwater, spinnerbaits, craws/ kreature baits, tubes, and t-rig yamamoto twin tail skirted grubs all work great on the river!
I was there around 12pm and caught the show...i agree it was more of a comedy show then anything else i was kinda disapointed. He maybe talked 10-15min of actual fishing / tips.
Anyways i also thought the expo was small but did have a few good stands! I loaded up at the discount stand across from Daves Tournament Tackle. They had zoom, culprit and few other good brands marked way down! $1.50-$1.75 per pack!! I also had Dave make me up 3 spinner baits, and i made 5 of my own jigs they had every color skirt and jig head you could imagine and prices were not too bad. The spinnerbaits / jigs are top quality. While i was there a guy put a order in of over 100 swim jigs all sexy shad color . Def worth stopping by!
I went to greentop bf the show and got some sebile magic swimmer hard & soft. I also got a couple of crankbaits, jigs, and trailers. Oh yea also got a Jackall Giron blue gill swimbait, it caught my eye and i had to have it! Its not as BIG as some of the other bluegill swim baits on the market its more like a baby bluegill at 4'' and looks so real.
as wayne said dont forgot the shamwow booth! ;D
As far as seminars i would attend another guys seminar if your wanting to learn something, Swindle was a funny guy and nice just didnt talk enough fishin knowin everyone there had cabin fever!!
yea the grass mats can get nasty over there during the summer...specially when top of the mats start showing on top of the water but thats usually in summer when we dont get rain and level drops.
Its better fishing from a boat when you can go above the islands to the rocks or below maidens...Aint much but a sandy bottom right there at maidens and couple small islands. Yes there is alot of gar...some very large ones at that! Ive landed a few smallies in this area 17-20''
i dont live far from Maidens landing in Powhatan " RT 522" so i usually go there bc not far. Fishing is good both down & up river from maidens. It ranges anywhere from about 2ft-6ft somtimes you will find deeper holes up to 8-10ft during winter bc level is usually up compared to summer, lots of large rocks and riffles/rapids to fish. For deeper water ill go down to watkins landing.

upper james is looking nice right about now...good level and clearing up nicely to catch some nice winter smallies!! I was also thinkin of getting out on one of those 50 degree days
If greentop sales start wed. i would try to get there asap to nab up the good deals as i know they dont last long at greentop and will probably be sold out of the better deals bf the expo starts! I may try to hit it greentop on thursday and pick up the coupon to expo while im there!
Steve, your posts kill me man.
Always about those green president photos, arent they? you cant take it with you when you go though... Spend on Steve.
you mean like this lmao
now steve thats what i call " big baller status", let me know where your gonna be at so i can follow you around some maybe you can buy me a reel or 2! Ill be lucky to get a crank bait :'( dont spend it all at one place!! Or you could get the side imaging humminbird depth finder for 999.00!
Last time i went it was still called bass o rama...i stopped going bc it seemed as over the years it wasnt as big of an event as it has been years ago and alot of vendors stopped going. So i decided to try it again this year to see if it has gotten any better/bigger. But if you never been its worth it i think!
i taught myself by going since i was a kid...fishing was my first real interest growing up! My dad or fam was never into fishing. I would always have my mom drop me off at lake and pick me up at dark when i was a kid! Ive been hooked ever since! 8-)
