I also throw some large swim baits and know what yall mean about losing confidence but thats where i seem to shine! where guys will fish few hours and not catch anything and put it down and fish something else i will keep throwing it ALL day long and sure enough in most cases it pays off! My theory is stick with it and it will produce! maybe not huge numbers but the ones you do catch will be nice size! Cant wait to get out to briery and sandy this year!! I also love HUGE top water baits!!
yea same we got about 5'' again today! when will it stop!! :'( Ive been wanting to pull boat out and clean'er up some and add some electronics etc but havent been able to do it for 2 months now. So in mean time ive been buying the hell out of some baits
both styles work great...for swift water i would go with weightless or t-rig bounce off bottom. In still or slack water wacky rig would do good! Cant go wrong either way...wacky rig will get hung up more of course but ive slayed'em of both ways.
also if senkos are working well for ya try a fluke! James river smallies eatem up!
channel 12 local news said Richmond area will see a total of around 4-8'' , said possibly more north and west of richmond with most of it turning into sleet/rain. Then he said another chance of snow monday into tues! I keep hearing rumors of another 10-15'' but have yet to see it on any weather reports...reguardless im done with the snow!
