Ive bought those "senkos" your talking about....they are not as soft as gary's and dont have quite the action/fall but cant beat them for the price if you fish that style of bait a lot. They also hold up a little better since they are a tougher plastic. I get about the same bites as I would using the original senko.
Yum Vibra king tube, pegged weight... I use it mainly pitching to targets. Let it fall on slack line, has a great glide action. Most times get bit on the initial fall.
I guess it didn't help viewing it from my cell. I see it now on 20" computer screen! Kinda like how Im upgrading from 798 to 1198 bc its harder to view the smaller screen.
Like Sam said, Amelia, Powhatan Lakes,Bear Creek, Sandy,Briery Creek and Nottoway lake. On the other side of town you got Diascunds, Waller mill, little Creek, Chick Lake to name a few.
They are public Lakes, electric only. Yes Jon boat is what I use.
Thanks everyone! Ain't nothing like sharing those memories with my daughter. Glad she was with me when the bite was on....I find the pattern and I have her copy it and then it turned into a competition. She wants to fish tournaments with me,how cool is that!
We've been having some good success lately. All these fish were caught by my daughter & I with in the last week at Powhatan Lakes. Caught 20+ fish over 4lbs in a 3 day span. Biggest being 6.13 on a Rapala scale.
Pass by it all the time on the way to Sandy river which is right down the road and prob better fishing. Never been to twin Lakes. If you have a boat go down the road to Sandy for a day!
