  1. Thanks guys! Ive done some reading over a TT like Eric said, and leaning towards the 735c sounds like over all great rod for what ill be doing! Great vid the rod has nice bend to it!
  2. I am looking for a rod to do mostly pitching with. Mostly lighter stuff like 3/4 to1/2oz and down. I like what Ive heard on the 735c and the 765 flip so Ive kinda narrowed it down to these rods. I know a lot say the 735c has softer tip but i like a rod with a lil give as long as it has good back bone. But at same time hate to get something too soft so that's why i was also looking at 765. Anyone that own these rods care to comment on what you like or dont like about them?

  5. on bigger fish you may have to pierce the lip bc jaw too large for clip around gill plate and through the jaw, smaller fish i usually just go underside of jaw through gill opening back out mouth, just dont hook it in between gills should be fine. I haven't lost a fish yet this way.
  6. We rented houseboat last weekend and i seen alot of big bass occasionally cruising the shallows. I did some shallow diving with my gopro cam and got some cool footage of nice bass and a nice 4lb? smallmouth that was hanging to underwater structure, she was not shy at all came right up to me! It was a great time even though i didn't get to fish much
  7. Ive used the clip on type and have since switched to the locking type....alot of times the fish would shake the clips off when they would thrash occasionally in livewell. Also any tension they feel on their lip as your trying to slowly pull ball up just to even lip them they end up shaking off. They stay on the smaller fish alot better.
  8. Welcome to the area...lots of great places to fish! Lakes & rivers! I have a pretty busy schedule between going to my daughters dirt bike races and fishing a few small club tourney's...and when im not doing that were at the track practicing. But i do sneak time in to fish when i can. Ill try to remember to look you up next time i have open seat, maybe show your Briery Creek and Sandy River Res. some! Lots of good guys in the area with good info, im sure some will have open seat so you could tag along. Maybe even join a local club, get to know guys in the area and know whats working and whats not.

  16. Net? are they allowed in yall's tourneys or you have to lip them? I know nets have saved me a bunch of fish. Ive had several fish come on hooked as soon as i landed them with the net. Ive lost some nice ones too at the boat bf i had a net.
