Yep. With the majority of them having little or nothing to do with Cumaras and broken tips.
When doing a similar search for "shoe broken tip", google came up with 5 million hits....can put just about anything in google and come up with a million+ hits that have absolutley nothing to do with the information you are looking for.
Any action from them will be from the fishermen. If you just let it sink to the bottom you wont be impressed. When twitching/jerking them, they glide side to side and I love how they will glide back under the pads I just dragged them over.
I do not even consider them to be the same type of bait as a senko. Other than the fact that they are both pencil shaped. I would never fish the two the same way
I texas rig mine and fish pads and reeds with them. I let them sink a bit and jerk them. They give a nice side to side action. I have caught a lot of fish using the white ones. When done fishing, put it back in the bag or it will dry out and be hard to remove from the hook.
Yeah, my google skills must be lacking. Information on this rod is hard to come by. I am hoping Kistler emails me back. I contacted them Thursday by emial asking them about a replacement. Until then, I have attatched a tip that was available at Dicks Sporting goods.

Great prices. Prices can only be seen once you register. If you want to know a price on a specific pair, just ask.
Does anyone know what guides are used on this rod? It's a 08 Kistler LTA 7' XH. The rings are metalic blue. Batson and Pacific Bay make something that could be what I am looking for.
What size would I need?
Looks like all I have to do is heat it up and it should come off(should have read whole article the first time). Now to get ahold of kistler and see if I can get a new tip.
Thanks guys.
It is a Kistler LTA.
Is it easy to remove the tip from the rod? I do not mind doing things myself, but would rather not screw up this otherwise nice rod.
Looks like I will try calling the local bait shops around town and see what/who they suggest.
Thanks for all the suggestions.
Thanks for the help, but not really what I was looking for.
I will need to have the old tip removed and a new one put on and was hoping somebody here could point me in the right direction. I would like to it look "stock" and know I do not have the skills to do so.
I purchased it through the flea market part of this board.
I had the guide insert(ring?) break, on the tip of the rod, during shipping. Is this something a custom builder could repair? Any idea on a price?
Anyone know any good builder in the Muskegon Michigan area? Is there a list of rod builders anywhere?
Thanks in advance.
When my line starts moving, I reel down and set the hook.
If you think he does not have the whole bait in its mouth, wait a bit. It Could also be a sunfish/bluegill nipping at your trailer.
I would look at BPS website and if you find deals print them out. When I was at BPS I found the online prices to be better, but they wanted proof to honor the prices.
Thanks for the input guys. I thought I might need a heavier rod. I was unable to find the weight of the plastics and knew you guys would have the answer.

P.S. I jsut got my first order from *** and the plastics look great. Can't wait to try them.
Looking for opinion on a rod for plastic swimbaits like the Berkley Hollow belly and Yum Money Minnows. Would it be the same type of rod used with hard swimbaits? I was hoping to get a spinning rod, but I am not against a casting rod. Thanks in advance.
