Have used hand tied marabou and buck tail flies tied on a #1/0 hook under a plastic bobber with about 7 feet of leader on Ray Roberts north of Dallas. Fish were about 9 feet dwn the water column and ready to move to the lure. Set it up for the wife while I fished TX rigged plastic worms. She caught more fish than me. 2 to 3 pound range.
