Went to my local lake thats about 150 acres. With the warm weather part of the lake is at 60 degrees and the other part was at 52. The lake is about a foot low which is a lot for this lake and weeds are everywhere. Im a little upset that the lake came up in temp so quick as the early prespawn is my favorite and that the lake is so weedy cause of no freeze.
anyway i did notice that there were tons of small bass in the shallows from 4 to 1 feet deep. I didnt see a bass over 2 lbs and probably 100 under. It seems like the small schoolies moved in.
But where are the big girls? I always thought they are the first to move in. but maybe with this wacky weather the smaller bass moved in first? I tried the first drop off to no avail. So what are your experiences with this situation.
I have a bunch and I was wondering if you just throw them in a box or do you have a special case for them.
I see as i put them in a box they almost get "box hair" like "hat head" after wearing a baseball cap for awhile
Hey guys I need some fast input on a g. loomis glx drop shot rod. Its a mag light? but not being able to hold the rod was looking for some input. I see there is one on Ebay right now for low 200's. Was wondering if anyone has this rod or has any thoughts on it

Right now in NY most lakes are in the 50's. I have read that smallies in the fall and winter will locate to long points and deep bluffs. . What about the green fish?
What is the transition and locations in late fall/ early winter and what are your experiences?

I got a new revo stx a lil while ago. the spool lever feels gunky when i depress it to release line. if i go slow if feels like something is binding is it. not sure if its not oiled right or over lubed or what.
The other question is i hate the handle cause i keep hitting my knuckles. Can i switch it with a different handle from another model? thanks for any help
