I was watching the video and started cranking up when I realized it was one of my home lake. I agree it's a bad idea to have it factor in to the results but if would be great for the spectators to watch.

Don't trash the girl any man that has feelings for a girl is going to defend her. Remember your his best friend but she has several BIG advantages that makes him REALLY LIKE HER!! So you need to give your two cents in a way that lets him know your behind him no matter what but you do think it's a mistake. While on the other hand your there for him and your not trying to make him pick between you two. Once you have said your peace let him know you will drop it and not keep bothering him about it. He has to know you respect him and his woman even though you don't agree they should get married. I think coming from that angle he might be more secure and willing to listen to you. Also I sure hope this isn't a situation where you have a thing for the girl and think she's right for you and not him. Seriously if that's the case date he hot sister or something but let them be!!

How were they trying to steal the game. The clock showed :00 which typically means the end of the game when its the 4th quarter and one teams ahead. The officials had to review to make sure if there was a timing error or not didnt they? It's very common for refs to inform the scorer to reset the game clock to a certain time. You can't tell me that each person in that stadium and on TV was not paying attention to the clock. I'm sure also that both coaches knew that the clock could be reviewed to make sure the correct time was up. They stormed the field and even after they went back and reviewed the clock the Nebraska coach was screaming like a 6 year old wanting a new toy or in this case to end the game. A similar thing happened earlier this year in a Notre Dame game. I can't remember who they we playing. However it was the end of the game and ND was behind with a few seconds left. The other team kicked the ball out to the otherside of the endzone. The clock ticked off a couple seconds and the ref informed the home team to put 10 seconds on the clock. Well both teams lined up and while ND was getting ready to snap the ball the clock mysteriously all of a sudden went to 7 seconds before the snap. ND sideline is going nuts pointing to it but they had no time outs. They run the play and gain 50 or 60 yards on it and the reciever runs out of bounds when the click ticked zero. The opposing team charges the field, the refs run of the field, and ND coaching staff runs after them trying to get their 3 second back that disappeared off the clock. I have no doubt Nebraska tried to end that game right then and there. Many times this tactic works but this time it didn't. Again I'm not a fan of either team but rather have seen this type of stuff and don't like it. It's one thing if the players alone do it but the coach was halfway across the field before they got him to turn back.

Ok so I made a couple video's of the rod and reel to help explain my experience. I hope it helps and forgive me for having to use the laundry room. It was 1 am when I made it and it was to cold to do it in the garage. My next video I'll make sure to have better lighting too. I also want to point out the back paw or what I call the back brake went out on my friends exact same reel as well.

I said to my Dad when Nebraska ran out on the field "They're trying to steal the game right here!". I've seen many games end this way because the refs don't have the balls to stand up and say it's not over yet. I was glad to see the refs stand up to the crazy coach who was going insane trying to end it right then and there. Just to point out I have no rooting interest in either team.

Ok your a lucky guy because I had the exact same set up for a entire year. First lets start with the rod. It will have plenty of back bone and land you tons of fish. There is a design flaw in this rod though. On the bottom of the rod the cork has a tendency to break off. I went threw three rods with the same problem. So you should get some type of wrap or something to prevent this from happening. The rod weighs a ton IMHO and I can't feel jack with it compared to my Carrot stix or Team Diawa rods I own. With that said for frogging it's a good rod to help sink those hooks in. Now your reel. I personally used mine for one summer and just plain wore it out. The back brake is now messed up causing the handle to go backwards if your not careful. The support bearing are also in bad shape causing a very loud whine and messing up casting performance. With all that said all this happened after about 100-140 frogging trips pulling large fish out of heavy grass. It gave me reliable good service for one season and at 40-50$ on a Dicks real that's about right. Now on your line choice. I strongly suggest you upgrade the pound test for one reason. Line Diameter! You 30# braid is going to be like the diameter of 6# normal test and that can be very tough to cast on a baitcaster. On a nice easy cast it's not a problem. However when you see something off in the distance and realy need to let it rip to get it there. What will happen is it will end up going about 5 to 10 feet and then it will JAM on you in your reel. You will then pick out the knot and rush to make the cast at the spot. The only problem is even if you get your cast at the spot you want your line has been seriously weekend at the spot it hung in your reel. This could lead to a very good chance of it breaking on a hookset. I think you will like your rod and real for frogging but expect both to give out on you in time. BTW I personally found I could cast best with the brakes on 2 with no wind and have the lure just glide down slowly on the cast control knob. I might also suggest I found the Citica and Curado 200E reels to cast very similar to the Field and Stream reel. So when you decide to upgrade one day in the future I would HIGHTLY suggest either one. Also this 6 and 7 pounder were caught on that set up but with 50# braid on a spro frog. So it should be able to get the job done for a season.

Yeah these things are crazy. It seem the commercial fisherman on the rivers are the only thing keeping there numbers from exploding further.

Well just found out my bass club here in Southern IL is having our annual club trip to Paris Landing on KY Lake on May 1 and 2nd. So I guess I'll be going to that and then on the evening of the 2nd head on down to Pickwick. Will there be anything scheduled on the day of the 2nd I might missed? I had thought about heading down a day early to Pickwick to see some of the Bass event but oh well. KY lake around the spawn out to be pretty awesome again!

Falcon jig Box works great for me. The only problem I have is sometimes it doesn't work great with football heads.

Mine had nothing fishing related except one crappy spinning combo for 10$.

The Titans needed a spark and he's given it to them. They are back on track playing alot better. I know in my pick em league for cash that I'm thinking the Titans are playing like a playoff team not a team that was 0-6 at one point. I haven't looked at there schedule but they could end up 8-8 or 9-7. even.

What I think sets it off is the Bob Denver type music. I find this stuff extremely funny. My niece and I love terrorizing our family with stupid stuff like this. BTw I don't understand why people don't just use the media button to post video's instead of linking to them.
