  1. the reason is because everytime you see them you just laugh and drive on. What you should do is assist them........... wait what the heck no wait these people are way to funny
  2. KNEEL AND REEL!!!
  3. very true but florida especially south florida is a huge exception as far as seasons go. you really dont have what most would call a fall transition period. at about this time you should be throwing stuff into the thickest nastiest stuff you can find your waters are still in or near the 80 deg mark and the bass are sick of it so they go and find santuary in THICK STUFF. if you havent tried these you are dead worng and just plain sick. http://www.***.com/descpagePAYSK-PBPS.html
  4. one thing you have to understand about the fall is that the bass are gonna begin to migrate following shools of shad into pockets near productive main lake points. My usual game plan is to start early with a fast moving topwater like a Zara Spook. from there ill start throwing a fast moving crank like a Rapala DT4 or DT6. Remember this is the time when the shad will be schooling on top and the bass will be suspending of the bottom around cover waiting for a school to come by. Also one very producive way to target Fall bass is a white swim jig. Plain and simple There is no need for plastics untill we get to late fall where bass are deep in pockets and cove tight to cover just before theyre move back to deep water for the winter. HOPE THIS HELPS
  5. Ok i guess no one has tried JJ's Magic then cause that stuff flat out works!!!!!!!
  6. SLOW DOWN! What is happening is that the bass are using noise and movenment to track the suspecting frog and in your situation they are keying in on it and attacking the last know position it sensed it at if you get what im saying cast it out let it sit for even a few minutes just shake it in place, if nothing move it a foot and repeat.
  7. Yes in fact it has a huge tranny cooler. it almost covers the whole radiator.
  8. so i got some rods i want to sell and i have a *** shipping tube. whats the cheapest way to ship it?
  9. So went out today and tested how well my 2007 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE 4X4 V6 3.7L towed a bass boat. The test boat was a 1994 nitro 898 which was loaded with 1/2 tank of gas estimated weight was around 3300lbs and the trailer was a single axle with NO surge breaks. I opted to use triptonic so that my tranny doesnt over do itself ( now i just have to learn what the good manual shift points are) and it pulled fine got it upto 55-58 MPH at 2000 Rpms and was able to accelerate moderatly if i did have to pass someone. Breaking was nice and if i go with a boat/trailer with surge breaks ill be fine. So all in all im stoked now i just have to shop around and see what i can afford around the 18-19.5 ft range

  14. Sorry to break everyones heart BUT, Look at the records.. http://sports.espn.go.com/outdoors/bassmaster/news/story?page=f_fea_bass_top25list And this year Choke in texas has produced the best, as far as numbers of quality bass. And you can argue all you want but facts speak. Lake fork always has to be an honorable mention.
  15. Is this stuff any good. PROS/CONS. Im not talking about the soft stuff just the regular hybrid.
  16. ROD TIP LOW GIVE NO SLACK Also learn to recognize how the fish is hooked. From there its just basic understanding of how to keep the hook in place.
  17. simply pop in or out for what your throwing and sound like your just starting id go with 3 out

  20. WOW, Anyway you need to be using 100% trilene Flourocarbon. and if you dont wanna spend that money then go witha co-polymer like P-Line CXX.and i would throw 8-12 depending on how much cover and how big the bass might be. Hope this helps
  21. What are you complaining about all the bass around here are all suffering from heat exhaustion
  22. Well i throw mine wacky with an O-ring and they last on average 5 fish so im happy. No fire here
  23. No guys when they are saying off limits theyre talking about the area of the lake at which he caught it. Kinda like backside of bouys are off limits in a tourney. Supposidly there were signs posted in the area so who know. Anyways who cares we should all marvel at the fact that he made the catch and that we know that there really are bass that can grow that big.
