  1. I like Favre.
  2. Thanks for the input guys. And another thing...what is the difference between a "student" card and a regular one? Rewards and points don't really mean much to me. I'm mostly doing this for the credit score and emergencies.
  3. I do use a debit card most of the time. And this is a little off topic...but I was thinking that it could possibly help raise my credit score. (I don't know anything about this). I've got my first 4 years paid for with scholarships...but I'm definitely going to have to take out loans for grad school.
  4. I'll be entering my Sophomore year of college this fall, and I'm looking for a little advice on credit cards. I want something for emergency purposes only (I live a considerable distance from home). I doubt I'll even use it. This will be my first type of credit...all I have right now is a checking and savings account. Any help is appreciated
  5. To people who constantly bash FedEX, UPS, USPS: Deliver it yourself.
  6. I forgot to mention college football. What a joke. :
  7. I'm tired of all of this crap on my T.V. The next World Cup can't get here soon enough. :
  8. I love my Macbook Pro. I'll never go back to Windows. But that being said, I'm really not that impressed with the ipad either. I hate touch screens with a passion.
  9. Yep, but I'm crying. ;D Even though we lost, I love a good baseball game. I wish SC good luck.
  10. She would have been the youngest. http://articles.latimes.com/2010/jan/24/sports/la-sp-abby-sunderland24-2010jan24 Even if she was 18...I'd still congratulate her.
  11. Are you kidding me? Becoming the youngest person (a 16 year old girl!) to circumnavigate the world alone is an amazing feat.
  12. Both the Everest kid and this girl had EXPERIENCE. Was it risky? Of course. But life is just one big risk. Live it. Be happy.
  13. I would. And I think that it's none of our business to tell a father that he can't allow his daughter try to accomplish her dreams. If nothing bad would have happened and she successfully completed her trip, everyone would be congratulating her like they did that kid who climbed Everest.
  14. Or is it just zesty ketchup?
  15. Green's muffed goal was a gift. But I'll take it. Great game.
  16. I thought it was funny. (Note: contains profanity)
  17. You're too ugly to be BassHunter69.
  18. Definitely Halle Berry in her catwoman suit.
  19. The classic "my disaster was worse than your disaster" game.
  20. I've heard a hundred different scenarios: Texas goes independent, Mizzou and Nebraska goes to the Big 10, and my personal favorite...the BIG 12 south joins the Pac 10 to form a super-conference. If the south does join the Pac 10...well that would just be crazy. Think about Texas, Oklahoma, Texas Tech, Oklahoma State, USC, Oregon, Cal, Oregon State, Stanford, UCLA. Definitely enough to rival/surpass the SEC. Personally, I doubt anything that drastic happens.
  21. I wish your comments on this thread were pay per view.
  22. Wow. I'm surprised to see other people agree with me for once. ;D But seriously, the "legalize, control, tax" mentality is growing...at least in my neck of the woods. We're even seeing a growth of politicians (Gary Johnson, et al) who are leaning this way. Whatever the case may be, the current system isn't working.
  23. I'll probably be bashed for this, but I agree with you 100%. And the "hardest" thing I've ever had was a half of a beer.
  24. I just don't know what to say.
  25. Sorry my fellow fishermen, but to call soccer "trash" and expect for a mainstream company like ESPN to save outdoor programming is quite laughable.
