With the bps stick o worms 7 1/4" (senko type) monster size make sure you use a larger hook. I would measure it for a hook and go up one size larger. I tried one with the only hook I had. Everything said above. I'.m in 9' of water. I cast it out on a 1/8oz Carolina rig with a 24" leader with the senko wacky rigged on a eagle claw weedless hook. It can be presented in different ways. Cast it out, close the bail and keep the line taunt, watch the tip as it falls for a nibble. Then lift and repeat. Then repeat, ditto till it's near you. Cast it out, close the bail, watch the line as it falls Cast it out, close the bail, keep the line taunt, shake n twitch the rod tip to make that senko dance for his life all the way down, repeat. Just about a 2" twitch.

I use a cherrywood 6'6" med action spinning rod. I just haven't picked a replacement worm rod yet. I have them.

About two decades or so ago I built a 24x48' addition on my house. I did all the work the framing, electrical, plumbing. I sub contracted the excavation and the cement work. A job that would of costed me $75k if I hired a contractor cost me $23k. My point is I hired a contractor that remodels I needed the bathrooms done here. About 9 months later the job was 60% done. Since I can't do the work I fired the guy. I taught my son how to do tile and finish the job up. I'm very limited on what I can do now. My misses picked out all top shelf stuff, imported tile from Italy ect. But this contractor came highly rated even on Ange's list and the other gals list. Be aware who you hire.

Weird? Never seen nothing like that but a dead deer at the waters edge. Bare bones. Smelled something really bad one morning while fishing in the dark. In the light it was a big carp dead at the waters edge.

Fishing from shore spring time bass fishing can be tough. The temps are still chilly. the problem is as it warms up the bass are in the most northern part of the body of water where it gets the most sun. I think there close to the beds but it's pre spawn. A lizard would work well.

Wait I've seen march in the past have snow storms ever four to five days. Till April. remember the snow on Easter Sunday? i hope your right. But never trust Mother Nature. But it would be nice to get the garden in early. The green house too my son maybe will do it.

It's big shoulders and small lower back? More pics are needed. The corn is up there. my pics are coming in, a flock or gaggle of turkeys, lots of deer, raccoons, one looks like a coyote(small), I never knew we had this amount of wildlife. I need another trail cam to cover more of the field. i have bottom land across the street with watershed land above my field at the rear of my land. It's a wildlife highway.

Feral hog n ct? I know there moving north but didn't think there this far already. free BBQ for the neighborhood. I'm not sure how far the feral hog population is right now. our dep won't admit there are wild hogs n ct but there is a growing population. the picture suggests it maybe a wild hog. I hope we get clearer pics soon. If it is a wild hog, boar, pig what ever my hobby farm garden maybe trashed this year. I guess it's time to fence in the garden. if you search for wild hogs in ct articles will show up. my son posted the picture.
