New to bass fishing

Ok I was down there in the pittsburgh area State Park Marina water is up to the parking lot. It looks like it is down from where it had been which is a good thing. So hopefully it will continue to drop. It is still high and lot of debris.

It is about 15 feet high I am going down there on sunday to drop some stuff, before my trip in two weeks. I will bring back a update.

Thanks for the tips. I am really thinking alot about the water levels, hopefully the rain is not too bad the rest of the weeks leading up to my trip. I am going to have fun even if i catch anhting or not. I can always switch to cat, or crappie if I get bored. Thanks again and if you have anymore tips let me know. thanks

So after several years of conquering the trout streams and rivers of Missouri, a buddy and I are going to start trying to fish missouri lakes for bass. I have been bass fishing a few times in the past but never really had the time, or money to learn. We are taking are first trip in early May any tips on colors, baits, tatics, or any other general bass fishing tips you may have would be great. We are going to pomme de terre so if you know any good spots let me know. Thanks for the help.
