Anyone want to hook up give a yell ( PM ) I am open to suggestions on where to fish, I will be heading to the Morristown area. Perhaps Jefferson Lake or Furnace. Like I've said before my boat was stolen and sunk so I will be fishing from shore. Anyone ever fish the pond in Harding township? How about the Passaic River in New Providence?

Hi guys/gals I am looking for a lake near Spruce Run. I was there about 20 years ago. All I know is it is a small pond, with a park and playground around it. It is off Rt. 31, we made a right turn under a railroad bridge. That is all I can remember. I've spent time looking in the area, found a playground but no pond. Can not find anything on map, GPS and people I ask in the area don't know. Any and all help is appreciated. I don't really expect anyone to know, but just thought I'd try anyway Thanks

Thanks FGB I have not fished that lake in years. It is the lake where my son caught his first "sunny" when he was 3 or 4, now he is in college. I will check it out as soon as I can. Do you know if that little tackle shop is still on rt 130 near the white church? Moved to another part of the state

Hi Guys/Gals Can anyone tell some good lakes to find Crappie? I don't want your hot spot or honey hole, just a lake in New Jersey that holds these guys. I have a few spots where I can almost always find them, but they are rivers. Would like to find a lake that has some. Thank You for any help or suggestions RangerDad/Tom

I have been fishing a lot of years. I use Eagle Claw hooks most of the time. Have not had that problem with these hooks. In fact have never had a problem with Eagle Claw hooks at all. The best part is they are made in America Forgot to mention I use mono, FC but mostly Power Pro. From UL to heavy Surf.

Hey BKNJ Is that park over near Westfield and Cranford where the Shotgun Skeet range was? I grew up in Rahway right on the river and fished it all my life. We would wade upstream from my house and end up by the parkway behind Winfield park. Some times we would head for Mohegan Park. The only Black Brook I know is near Rt 22. It sounds like we are close to each other, if you want to hook up one day and go fishing let me know.

Bknj I have heard of lenape pond but not sure where it is. I think I might know it by another name. Would you mind giving me some directions? Feel free to PM me. This is killing me, I know I've heard of it, but can't place it! :-/ I want to say it is in Plainfield or North Plainfield, just not sure.

Hey DWS, Sorry it took so long to get back to you. Some times life happens I fish Surprise Lake and Sealys Pond in the Watchung Reservation. When I feel like walking I'll fish the creek/river that connects the two lakes. What ever you throw, will connect at one time or another. I like to throw top waters. The water in SL is shallow so they work well. At SP the water is deeper, I'll throw a T Rig worm or a Carolina Worm. Make sure you bring some weedless stuff, the weeds get thick! I'll start near the parking area, and work my way down to the d**n. Coming around the lake anding back at the car. Bring some boots, the edges of SL are muddy. Can't get to far side of SPond unless hip boots, or a long walk, or up a mountain. Leave the car topper home unless you get a permit from Union County, you will get a ticket without it!!! Hi Guys new to the site! Born raised and fished NJ for a few years. (Many few Years ;D) Live in Union County but fish many parts of the state and into NY and PA. Heading out to the Watchung Reservation in about 20 minutes. Nice to meet you guys, if ya want to hook up and shore fish (boat stolen > ) just PM me. Hey Sharkbite: I fish the Delaware near Pburg. Mostly the boat ramp in Easton. Always in that area coming or going. Love merril creek and furnace lake. Ever Been?
