  1. with the strike king red eye shad I had it where they were getting hooked on the back hook. I realized when I played the fish instead instead of horsing them in I would bring the fish in every time. So just keep the line tight and don't horse them in. Best of luck.
  2. I have a 7' MH spinning LTX and love it. I use it for everything. Plus customer service for E21 is amazing. Do your self a favor and try to feel one in your hand at your local store if they have them. My two friends don't like the grips. I love it though.
  3. Keep tension on line at all times. Do not let slack on your line for a second. Don't know how many times I bring a bass in the boat and as soon as there is slack when the bass is in the boat the jig falls right out. Now I'm not exactly saying horse the fish in the boat at a million miles per hour. Just no slack line. Good luck
  4. I use nothing but Evolution Jigs. I use them for every situation all year round. I will say they can be tricky for heavy weed cover at times as they are football head jigs, they are meant mainly for rocky or wood cover. No matter what brand you buy I would say go with Black & Blue and Pb & J. Those 2 colors work for me all the time.
  5. 4" chigger craw black&blue or cinnamon
  6. whats up fellow cheesehead. Im from south east Wisconsin and it takes a while to get up in the temps here as well. I use cranks in the shallow flats by docks. Jointed shad, DT 4. Also I use a lot of Jigs with Chiggercraw berkly powerbait. Evolution Jig black and blue PB & J everywhere on the lake. Mainly by 2 to 10ft by rock shores where it meets sand but have had luck on drop offs to 14ft in the weeds.
  7. I love evolution jigs from Megastrike. Bobby is on here all the time. For trailers I use Berkley chigger craw. Peanutbutter and jelly , and black and blue for jig and trailer colors. I started with the 1/2 oz.
  8. I like the show, its a little different with the underwater diving. Kim can be a little weird some times but aren't we all.
  9. I agree, fishing games are always lacking. The only fishing games I have ever enjoyed are, super black bass SNES, and SEGA BASS FISHING for Dreamcast. Now for some good news, well hopefully. There is a game coming out. Think it is called Strike by basspro. Either way you get a small fishing rod as your controller. My friend tried it at some convention. He said it was pretty cool, then again he's not a full blown fisherman. Still I will try it. Don't know when it's coming out but it's for the XBOX360, PS3, and I believe the WII.
  10. I'm in for Wisconsin
  11. on the way to the lake Mcdonalds breakfast. snacks and drinks for the rest of the day gummy life savers, Swedish fish nacho cheese, pretzel combos water, Mt. Dew, Gatorade any of these combos depends what the mood is lol
  12. I love my 7' carrot stick. Guides are still going strong, lifetime guarantee, and for 150 yea great price. Plus, I had great experiance with customer service with them.
  13. Thanks everyone. I have already bought a couple. I tell you what though, everywhere I go those lures are almost sold out. lol We will see if it's just another cool lookin bait or if it catches fish. I wouldn't expect it to have to much wobble on the free fall. Think this lipless is made more for yo-yo or rippin. I bought it as a alternative to jigs in deeper areas.
  14. yea I did the search was just hoping that someone has tried it out and how it worked for them. I live in Wisconsin man lol. I need the info. I live off of everyone's fishing stories until around late April
  15. Hey everyone, Has anyone tried the new Rapala lipless lure the cracklin rap. I like the looks of it and have actually bought a couple. Just wondering if anyone has tried it yet. I live in Wisconsin so I haven't been able to try it out yet.
