  2. We're just minutes away from The Bass Resource Black Out of 2025. I'm already starting to get the shakes and my left eye is twitching. I think I feel a bender coming on too. No not that kind . . . . 🥴 A-Jay
  3. Uni to uni. All I use for this. 4 turns with the wire and 5-6 turns with the mainline. FC or Braid. A-Jay

  5. My heart feels good with all your well wishes. Surgery went perfectly & Andy has me back home safe, sound & comfy with my puppies. Lynn
  6. I've been use this effectively for a long time. It's not cheap but when I add up the prices of baits NOT Lost to toothy critters, it pays for itself in short order. Sort of like a disappearing deductible. A-Jay
  7. Been using Quntum reels for some time. Little to no problems, ever. Helps to maintain and not abuse them. Will be selling 'several' of these at a fisherman friently price next month. IMO a step above the S3. If you're interested, keep an eye on the Flea Market forum. A-Jay

  10. Wrapping up the cycle with Workout Day 5. Been eating, hydrating, and sleeping effectively. Really makes a difference on how I feel before, during and especially after this training. #borninfiftynine A-Jay
  11. Lynn's 50 times tougher than I'll ever be - sissy is not part of her deal. A-Jay
  12. I run a heater in my gym ALL year and it's in the basement of my home. I don't like to train when I'm cold and the average temp down there 's @ 60 all year. Small heater does the trick. I read as well. All types of stuff from history to Crime and who done it novels, you name it. Even did a long string of Stephen King books. Forgot how good they were. It's a Huge escape for me. Ear plugs and a couple of dogs at my side, wood stove cranking and I am good to go ! Good Luck Sir. A-Jay
  13. Lynn's been mostly 'stable' for a bit, which is always a welcome deal. However, there's been some minor complications with her Mediport, so it needs to be removed and replaced with a new one. A mediport is a small medical appliance that is surgically installed beneath the skin. A plastic tube (catheter) connects the port to a vein to deliver medicine, blood products, nutrients, or fluids into the bloodstream. The catheter can also remove blood for testing. Chemotherapy is typically given using a mediport. A doctor surgically inserts the device under the skin in the upper chest. The port appears as a bump or raised area under the skin, and is roughly the diameter of a quarter. It is completely internal. The surgeon also surgically inserts the catheter from the port into a nearby vein. The position enables medicine or other fluids to be spread throughout the body quickly and efficiently. Lynn's veins are totally shot from years of use & abuse, so this device is literally a life saver. Procedure is scheduled for tomorrow and is expected to be out patient / same day deal. We'll see. 14. Why ? How about every time you 'tag' a bass, you also tag yourself. That way you'll be able to know how long they last, how many fish you've maimed and even how it affects your everyday life. OK, so I'm not a fan of tagging. A-Jay
  15. Northern folks know what's coming and prepare for it. Or at least they better. So no home gym in an unheated garage. Snow removal every few days is normal. As is learning to slow your roll. Here's a novel idea, read a book. Good Luck. A'Jay
  16. As of now, I'm undecided. But it's looking pretty good. Btw, how's that Electroconvulsive therapy going ? A-Jay
  17. Regardless of the brand you decide on, and I think you already know my preference, it's solid plan to consider size, running depth and sound. So besides the 'standard' size bait that every one throws, that rattles and runs 4 - 8 feet. A smaller, deeper running and or silent bait (no rattles) ALL producers for me. Also consider the baits hardware quality, using a line size and type that allows proper presentation and action. Finally, when 'working' the bait, "Less is More". Good Luck A-Jay
  18. It's hard to know what to say. To find the right words, if they even exist. Please know that we genuinely care. The road ahead of you looks scary, but I wanted to let you know that we are here for you and your family every step of the way. Hope things get easier. A-Jay
  19. To be honest, I'm not a giant fan of that t-wing deal either. It was my fish venture into that area. Might end up re-homing these and getting a few more Bantam's. I'm not quite maxed out. Close though. Good Luck. A-Jay

  21. Why would you buy an ABU over a Shimano or a Daiwa? Is this a trick Question ? A-Jay
  22. Thanks for the heads up. Let the Netflix binge marathon begin. Good Luck to us all ! See you on the other side . . . . . . A-Jay
  23. Workout Day 4 today. Completed 3 working sets of the 4 movements scheduled. I was a little pressed for time, so I needed to manage that as well. #borninfiftynine A-Jay
