  1. And a Real Looker too ! Congrats. A-Jay
  2. Pssst ~ Hey @Koz You might be trying to fix a problem . . . . . you don't actually have. Just saying . . . . Sounds like you need a puppy. A-Jay
  3. @WaskaCrank12 I'll be looking to replace the AGM's I'm currently running in a year or two. So, still trying to read everything I can to decide which way to go. There's a lot to digest both the good, the bad & the ugly as far as reviews & comments are concerned. It's hard to know what the real deal is. And considering the cost of the newest models & the battery chargers that go with them, I'm still squarely on the fence. Also, there's at least some chance this will be the last set of batteries I ever buy; regardless of what they are. The boat monkey is a persistent and persuasive fiend. Good Luck with your decision. A-Jay
  4. Sorry you had a bit of time but glad it's all good now. Thanks A-Jay
  5. I'm confused. Seems there was some type of issue(s) with that battery as you posted in Oct. https://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/263301-need-some-help-with-new-lithium-battery/?do=findComment&comment=3107554 Has this been resolved ? A-Jay
  6. Completed Workout Day 4 as scheduled. I got no complaints. #borninfiftynine A-Jay
  7. Don't have a kayak but a canoe. Sometimes I stand (unit has a 40 inch beam), but sometimes I sit. The number one factor for me being effective with a jerkbait from a small craft and in a seated position . . . . IS THE BOAT NEEDS TO BE STATIONARY. So I ANCHOR. Otherwise the drift of the boat, however slight, jacks up 'the pause' sequence of the presentation and I get far fewer bites. Other than that, the seated jerkbait presentation is the same as standing, might be a little harder to get used to at first, but basically the same. I do prefer spinning gear but have done fine with casting gear as well. Good Luck. A-Jay
  8. LOL ~ That was Big Fish Jeff First/Maiden Voyage across Lake Menderchuck in the Pro-V Bass. #bigeyes 😅 A-Jay
  9. The days of Franks Sinatra & Bing Crosby Christmas music have long past. And some might feel like they are gone forever. Heard this one the other day #polaropposite https://youtu.be/D5zBF-zPXpU?feature=shared A-Jay
  10. Thanks. I've had quite a bit of practice in some pretty sport conditions. Night time & zero visibility in fog is fun too. A-Jay
  11. I have a couple of the spinning rods that are decent What's the all purpose rod ? A-Jay Spin E - Ehrler Spin B - Feider
  12. It got our attention for sure ~ https://youtu.be/jYDqRk6ghyE?feature=shared A-Jay
  13. Nice Rig ~ Over kill is simply a decent way of being Prepared. 😎 A-Jay
  14. Black Rifle is most decent IMO. I really like the packaging ~ and the military discount #25% A-Jay
  15. I don't drink anywhere near the Joe I used to. Retirement does that. But when I do, it's usually for effect and happens late afternoon. Also has to be a dark roast. I go over pour, so 1 cup at a time. I switch back & forth between these two. https://www.blackriflecoffee.com/ A-Jay
  16. After an extra off day, spent blasting another foot of snow away, I was back in the home gym for Workout Day 3. Despite the late afternoon time frame, I still felt pretty decent during this one. #borninfiftynine A-Jay
  17. Yup. I will often build them on wire when fishing toothy critter in fested waters. A-Jay
  18. Tighten your spool tension so there is no playback & forth with spool in the reel frame. When the spool is 'floating' around in a casting reel to make reeling easier, it rarely gets an even, tight & proper line lay. A-Jay
  19. Doesn't have a name really - My wife calls it the A-Jay rig. A-Jay
  20. Essentially this is a "light weight" punch rig. I fish it like a Texas Rig- just has a skirt included. Been fishing it effectively for a long time. I made this video 12 years ago. https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/BOSS_Punch_Hub_5pk/descpage-BOSSPCH.html https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/search-tackle.html?start=0&count=20&searchtext=parasite+clip A-Jay
  21. I am glad I was able to upgrade my Helix units when I did. Just basic units no mega or live and I am still using the original 360. Been happy with their performance so far. Still, i wouldn't want to be messing with that deal now as the Proprosed Prices of these newest units seem disproportionately high. A-Jay
  22. This is true. But I never said I did. Just wait until the big casting reel sell off this spring. #epic A-Jay
  23. Neither or both ~ I like to catch long fat bass. A-Jay
  24. What are you smoking ? I guess you don't remember how many 7's 8's 9's 10's 11' and 12 lb bass we've caught there . . . So you're kidding right ? We even got 6 over 10 lb in one trip ! https://youtu.be/UYTzJHDCdMo?feature=shared A-Jay
  25. Depends if your trousers are intact or if you're using FFS or not ~ I'm the funniest guy I know. A-Jay
