  1. Thanks. I have nothing against keeping fish - but I could not bring myself to put a fillet knife through something like that . . . . . . A-Jay
  2. wisturkeyhuntet This is from a previous thread by Fish Chris I can't argue with these kind of results - I've never seen anything like it - This man seems to have a pretty plan . . . . . A-Jay
  3. The Predator is very stable for standing and fishing - I do it all day - but we must remember - it's a CANOE not a bass boat so sooner or later I expect I take a tumble - but I hope to stay dry I put an extension handle on the trolling motor and that alone makes a World of difference as far as balace is conerned - it gives me something to hold on to - it really helps. The canoe is 40 inches wide and very stable for a canoe. . . . . . . . A-Jay
  4. VA - check your PM's - I sent you part 1 . . . . 8-) misfit1III8 - I knew you'd recognize that one - BTW - I think I found your pants - This strange fellow seems to have claimed them as his own What's up with THAT ! A-Jay

  6. VA Thanks for the kind words - give me a day and I'll send you some photo's and a small write up on what I did ~ what worked and what didn't - I might be able to get it out tonight while I'm watching the ball game otherwise you'll see something tomorrow for sure . . keep an eye on your pm's. A-Jay
  7. VA I am also a big fan of the stealth canoe approach - I put a minnkota 55 on an Old Towne Predator square back 15'3''. I love it. I have a Hummingbird gps/sonar on it - I think it's the 636 model I put the battery in a Minnkota battery box that comes equipt with 2 12 volt accessory inputs - I use one for the hummingbird and one for a spot light for night operations I can PM you some more info / photo's if you'd like . . . . A-Jay
  8. "Got to love it when the swim off hard on release" Yes - miked62 - it's the BEST ! As a boy I fished with both my Dad and His Dad - and they both always got such a kick out of watching their catch swim off - - that started over forty-five years ago for me - and it never gets old. I have really grow to enjoy this aspect of fishing. I'll admit I used to simply "Toss" the under sized fish back without much regard for their survival - but somewhere along the line I figured it out - - besides, I bet the fish feels it's pretty important - A-Jay
  9. So I heard - Hope you beat'em up ! Guess you know where I'll be ? 8-) A-Jay
  10. I took a 16" smb first from the same spot - 10 minutes later I was being towed around the lake by that U-boat of a bass. She put up a spirited fight but the 54 degree water temps were a factor. If she was a little warmer I bet I would have been treated to a series "air show" A-Jay
  11. Got back after sunset from my first trip on a "new" Lake near home - It turned out to be quite an afternoon - bagged my Personal best SMB ! I was alone so I went with the "net" photo - At just over 21" she was a TOAD ! She recovered quickly from her photo op - and splashed my face for good measure as she swam off . . . . . . Looks like it's gonna be a good Year ! A-Jay
