  1. these are easier for storing than the fibetts were. i still do the fibetts if someone wants those however. the color of fibetts that i used the most was changed by the manufacturer so i am having to dye them myself which is a pain.
  2. as does yours on the other thread.
  3. been experimenting with the resin fins on baits. like the look but takes a long time to do.
  4. fish them whenever i get the chance. too cold out now so i'm passing the time getting some ready for spring.
  5. here's a couple i did a while back. ignore the little crappie. it just happened to be in the picture .
  6. made this case for displaying some baits. it has a plexiglass top that sets over the baits and presses them into the foam to keep them in place. with the lid off i stick straight pins under the bait to keep them positioned when the case is stood up and they can be easily picked up for inspecting. some of the baits have a satin finish instead of the gloss finish and a couple have the translucent fins made of colored resin .
  7. i found out they are not in production anymore. guess Hank was doing a rerun show. looks like i'll have to make my own.
  8. saw Hank Parkers show today and he was using this lure. i've checked everywhere i know of and nobody has it. anyone know where to find this?
  9. how smooth does it need to be to paint? i never use anything finer than 120 grit to sand with. i prime it, light sanding and paint. yeh, the dust will drive you nuts! i hand carve everything to avoid the dust as much as possible.
  10. pvc is waterproof so no need to seal it. you'll have to primer it before painting. it will hold screw eyes well. drill a pilot hole first, thread the screw eye in, remove it, use a pin to put in some 5 min. epoxy and thread the screw eye back in. here are some i finished a few weeks ago. http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1298330721
  11. carves easily with a sharp utility blade. i think you'll have problems with melting if you try a rotary tool.
  12. i did a post a few years back on the fins. don't know if it is still around.
  13. spring is almost here. getting these ready to try out soon. all are 5-5 1/2", slow sinkers. approx. 1.25 ozs. ea.
  14. yeh, i know they're not gold :. had a guy ask about one with this pattern. liked it so i made one for myself. shallow divers. small one is 4 1/2", bigger one is 4 3/4"
  15. actually that was with a paint brush. i do some baits with rattle can/brushes but the details are with a brush. just noticed the picture was gone? humm.
