Been there done that. The Motor Guide bolts are quite pricey and does not work for long. I had to use nuts and washers to secure the bracket. If you do not have long arms have your first aid kit ready for the scratches and cuts you will receive. ;D
Be sure you have crankbaits and worms. Fish the points. I used to fish out there years ago. It has some good fish. Fish early and do not forget the insect spray. The skeeters like a good meal 8-)
We fished Sardis Lake in Ms. on saturday and we caught quite a few. I have always heard May is the month to catch fish at Sardis. The water is up and muddy from all the rain. The St. Jude bass tournament is coming up on May 30 and I am sure lots of fish will be caught. Catch one for me. ;D
I fished a tournament on saturday and when we started to the weigh-in I noticed all of my fish had died. I ran my aerator a good bit of the time. How do you operate your livewell. Help :'(
If you are talking about Pickwick at Savannah Tn. Give Rodger Stegall a call. He has been guiding for almost 30 years. I fished with him last October and he is a good one.
I have a ;D18ft Nitro with a 150 Mercury that I do not have a note on it is just fine. I would like to have a larger boat but not if I have to have boat loan. It is hard to make a payment when there is snow on the ground.
All you Kentucky fans enjoy the ride for now. When the NCAA comes knocking on the door you will not be so crazy about Coach Cal. Everywhere he has been their has been a knock on that door. Where are all those banners hanging now?
What do you fisherman do to winterize your boat? Do you run all the gas out of the carbs? Do you fill the gas tank up or just do you do to keep gas from gumming up your motor?
Hey guys how often do you take your boat in for a tuneup or how often do you change the sparkplugs. I have a 150 Mercury and I do not know if it needs plugs or an adjustment. When idling it may cut off or if another boat is near you can not hear it. What do you think?
That's what you pay insurance for. If they do not cover it something is bad wrong with the insurance company. I hit a stump one time and they had to replace the lower unit. No problems.
