Yes I do have to admit it was Skeet inspired but we changed it up a little with the yellow consoles and different colored trailer. As soon as I get the pictures from this weekend loaded onto my computer i'll post our first fish caught in our new baby! Thanks guys! If you see us on the water stop by and say hi!

Well Thursday me and the hubby drove down to Canindaigua New York to pick up our new boat! She rides beautifully in the rough waters. It's a Champion 210 Elite with a Mercury Pro XS 250hp motor on her. She's already been in some rough waters on Lake Erie over the weekend and rode like an absolute dream! Just too bad we didn't place well in the tournament... but we had the purdiest boat! So here she is.. our new baby.... (just click for larger picture)

Yeah the 20" length is dreaded... but thankfully it's only until the end of June... That small mouth was a blast to bring in... huge smile on my face!! We always have a running bet who's gonna catch the first fish of the day... that lil girl got me a nice dinner that night ( i should say we didn't have bass for dinner, lol we went out!)

Thank you... Yes it was truly heartbreaking to let some of those fish go ... the wind picked up shortly after the tourney started... so when we got a bite our hearts would race... *sigh* Well we will get them in our next tourney!!

Well my partner Pete and I were in a tournament last weekend... and unfortunately because NY State states that the bass have to be 20" made our day quite frustrating All the bass we were catching were nice weights, healthy fish but 3/4 - 1/2" short of the length requirement!! And just when I thought I hooked a nice fat bass, turned out to be a walleye : Here are some pictures ...

Thank you everyone! I promise I will keep you all updated on how I finish at the tournament coming up. I'm very excited about this upcoming season... I just hope the fish are as co-operative tourney day!!

Thanks guys!! I'll be fishing in the Make A Wish tournament out of Buffalo in a couple weeks. I will have to let you know how we did. It's just too bad I don't think the new boat will be here in time for the tournament.

Thanks! Was nice to get out and start fishing again. The waters were very muddy. Had a big storm the night before. All the fish we caught looked very healthy... hopefully a good indication of some nice weights at the weigh-ins!

I finally got to go out pre-fishing for a tourney coming up. We found some nice Large Mouth over by Strawberry Island. It was a great day of fishing. Thought I'd include some pictures below. You can click on the pictures to make them bigger.
