I am leaving out today for our Tourney on Lake Lewisville in Texas with the WBT, our first event of the season. I look forward to catching up with ya'll when i get back.. Wish me Luck

I will not use a trickworm or senko without a rattle in it.. period! i use a 3mm glass rattle to me is much better than the plastic ones that are also too big for the worm......it makes a HUGE difference

I fish the WBT.......Fish locally about 3 days a week sometimes 4.. work the rest..................in the winter do some Crappie fishing on Toledo Bend where my mom guides.........Bream fishing in the hot summer too.......i ain't scared to do some catfishing from time to time... ok hello my name is Sammie Jo and I love to fish PERIOD! I enjoy taking the kids out as well.. that is what it's all about

I have to go with Peter T.. he is an all around great guy.......Also gotta give it up to my all time favorite angler (don't tell him or he will get the big head that i said this ) but FLW fave is Clay Dyer, He is my inspiration!

Catt i too understand your sarcasm and agree...........BassPro i also understand you are taking a stand for what you too believe in and that is Anglers we have all grown up learning from or admired as fisherman or people in this Industry and you are defending their honor, i Admire that as well. Especially at your age... Always stand up for what you believe in. With that said, Catt was using Wit/Sarcasm to make a point and us "older folks" learn to speak that language because well.. we are good at it.....anyway we all love this sport and the legends that fish it and i think from an Old Time Angler to a Up and Coming Rookie angler this is water under the bridge.....change your lure and shake hands... I look forward to reading Catts no less than impressive fishing stories i hear about and BassPro your insight as well............Fish on!! you can enter as a co-angler/non-boater and fish from the back of the boat. more cost effecient especially with feul costs, but again a great learning experience..

Bud, I agree with BassnBrett, join a local adult club as a coangler. There is so much to be learned from the back of a boat from these guys/gals. It is where i began and my 16 year old daughter will begin soon. She has fished with me for years, knows how to fish. But There is more to be learned about tournament fishing than well, just fishing. it is a great learning experience and you make some friends along the way. Joining B.A.S.S is a great decision, Bassmaster magazine offers information on anything and everything in the fishing industry. It is something i look forward to reading every month. and is well worth the $14.95 a year subscription. I give these subscriptions out to alot of my family/friends at xmas etc................also when you are ready to take the plunge, being a B.A.S.S member benefits you to fish the B.A.S.S events at 16 you are elgible to fish....All my Best..Go Get em!!!!!!!!!

Again thank you for such a warm welcome! There is some great info on here and i look forward to going through as much of it as i can. You can never learn to much when it comes to fishing, nor know everything, but you can keep learning and what better way than from other anglers like yourself who love this sport... Ba7 the Thanks goes to you my friend, not me.. When it comes to our military and Veterans I am THEIR Biggest Fan. My dad is a Vietnam Veteran and my sister a Desert Storm Veteran and i was a military wife for 13 years. I know the sacrfices made for my freeedom and this great country and I honor our Heroes who continue to bless us with this Freedom everyday!
