  1. Are you talking about the Loon Lake next to the town of Hornell? There is a private launch too.
  2. NBR, I live in Wolfeboro.-----Mark Anthony
  3. The Prospect Mountain Bass Anglers of New Hampshire TBF is seeking interest from potential boaters and non-boaters for the 2010 season. Currently we are centralized in the lakes region of New Hampshire and hold 8 club meetings each year in Alton, Nh. We compete in four club tournaments each year and actively participate in the NH TBF State fish-offs. If interested in more info. please contact me (Mark Anthony, club President) at manthony@pmhschool.com for more details. Thanks with sponsored help from Fishbelly Lures
  4. It's good to get the cobwebs off the gear, isn't it?!!! Great early season success. I hope it continues for you.
  5. I've had success using blade baits and jigs. Blades in deep water when I find bait pods. Jig bite in 50 degree water 2-4 foot deep for green fish. Hope this helps.
  6. I fish in the northeast. When the water temp.s are in the 60-64 degree range I prefer jerkbaits over rock and boulder main lake points when the wind is up (spinnerbaits/rattletraps too). When it is dead calm I like a spider grub on the same structure. When water dips below 60, I look for bait pods and spider grub/drop shot/silverbuddy/spoon vertically. Kicker largemouth around the last green grass/pads. Good luck let us know if this helps.----------Mark Anthony
  7. Thanks for the reply. Basically, I like structure fishing and I really like to "sight fish" at times, with my bow mount. I feel the 102-c is not powerful enough to give me accurate readings. I felt a stronger watt unit would give truer readings and I was fortunate enough to get a HUGE discount on the LCX-38 HD. There fore, I am struggling with making the decision, Do I mount this on the bow (where I spend 90% of my time?) or (Do I mount this in the console area to give me better definition running at high speeds? and with the bigger screen easier reads on the fly?)
  8. I would like to get member's opinions/ideas on where to mount a Lowrance X-38c HD unit, bow or console? Currently, I have a Low. 102-c on the bow and a LMS-332c in the console. I will be removing the 102c this season. (felt like it wasn't helping my style of fishing).
