See for the Wa lakes I dont have a big enough rig to get on Banks or Potholes. and the lakes in spokane wont really offer me any thing diff then I can find in N. Idaho.

  4. Hey Sarah if you want to travel over to Idaho there is Round Lake camp ground about 10min south of Sandpoint. The campgrounds are really nice w/ showers and is embedded in tress so you are camping in shade. The Lake is nice lake filled w/ trout, bass, and pan fish with two long docks and a walking trail around the lake. Its a beautiful place to go. Also has a small beach area for the kids to swim. No boat rentels but I believe they have canno rentels. Im not able to post the link but you can search it Round lake state park Hope you have a fun and relaxing time :)
  5. Thanks for the reply... Twin is still pretty good one of my favs. I know there are some very nice lakes in Central WA and Idaho but each year I think about getting an WA license but if there are no close Spokane lakes any better than N.Idaho lakes I would just save my $$$.
  6. I live here in N. Idaho and fish many of the area lakes. Im am just curious if it would be even worth getting a WA out of state license to fish WA lakes. DO any of them have anything really diff to offer. I have 10-12 lakes to hit all within 30 min. I fish Hayden, Twin, Hauser, Rose, Spirit, Fernan, Rose. because I only have a 12ft bass style boat or float tube I havent got into the rivers or Coeur D alene. So is there any WA lakes on the east side that is a must...
  7. take those fillets and cut them up in chunks throw them in a skillet w/ some butter, lemon, garlic, and seasoning. Then put in a flour tortilla w/ guacamole, cheese, pico de gallo and your favorite hot sauce. BASS BURRITOS OH SO GOOD!!!!!
  8. check out washingtonlakes.com it has some useful info on area lakes and also fishing reports.
  9. Welcome aboard. I too just recently found this site an it has a lot of great info. I am over in N. Idaho and have limited knowledge of spokane Lakes but from what I have heard Eloika, Newman and Long are good starts. I would sugest 2 good resources; there is a book out that provides info on all WA. lakes(directions, types of fish & some other details) that you can find at Hastings, Boarders and even Joe's Sporting Goods. The other is washingtonlakes.com. This is a great site w/ info, fish reports and even topo maps of most WA lakes. Good Luck
  10. Yeah AND??? :-??? :-??? :-??? I have never seen the show but obviously he and the show has may fans. But lets not put these youngins to the fire too much as we ALL have done/said stupid things w/o thinking as teenagers, this is a perfect oppurtunity to teach these lads not berate them(not that anyone has) So boys no need to go into hiding, lesson learned... 8-) btw, Fishing has nothing to do w/ being the best or being great, its all about the enjoyment, excitement and relaxation of this great sport. 8-)
  11. so for you San Diegans what ever Happened to Hodges? That was a Top notch Monster Bass producer when I was growing up down there (16+ years ago) It the late 80s many of the fishing mags predicted the next world record may come from Hodges. Also San V & El Cap were other Favs, and for just plain fun Lake Morena was great for tubing until the drained it for a time being. BTW the way I HATE SNOW in April:(
  12. North Idaho Here (Hayden), I too am new to this forum, pretty sweet btw.
