  1. Finally someone my age.lol. I was on the Ohio River i put in in Ashland Ky, where im from, and i caught 4 keepers on a steep rockdrop off, on a "Sexy Shad" color crankbait, deep diver.
  2. Hey Guys. i usually dont smallmouth fish, but this weekend i am going to Lewisberg Wv and will be fishing the Greenbrier River alot. I went last year and the only luck i had was at night with a black jitterbug. Will some of you more ecperienced guys give me some tips and what to look for and where they will most likely be, and how to catch me a trophy smallie. Thanks Guys. YoungGun
  3. Beleive it or not i have used it, like where there are deep rock drop offs. And i can say that it does work.
  4. I appriciate it guys. Come to find out today, i had a hot pink trick worm, but i cut it into and used the littlest end and texas rigged it, caught 3 that were all keepers. It was something about the hot pink they couldnt resist thatnks alot guys. YoungGun
  5. I myself usually largemouth fish but taking the wife out to catch some bluegill or crapie i also do al the time.
  6. In a local pong here a couple min away from the house the bass are already starting to nest they wont move for nothing. Anything I put infront of it it just looks at is and acts as if it isnt there? How can I catch them, i would like for my wife to catch them cause they have some size to them. Anything would help.   7. Yes structure is just as important, i fish the Ohio river all the time and do just as good there as anywhere else. Just think of how big the fish can get in that water. I use a little bit of everything from spinnerbaits to crankbaits. But mostly Texas Rig a worm and find you some structure somewhere.

  10. All i can say is just throw something texas rigged, like a crawdad, or lizard, and just annoy them, eventually they will hit. And for the big fish your talkin about, those are grass carp, best way to catch them would be dough balls or wheaty balls.

  13. Beleve it or not they did make it, the pond was maybe 5 min away. I have been tryin to stock in somwhat in the past two or three years, most of my fish come out of the river.

  15. Yea all i do is catch and realease, unless its catfish. Can you see both the fish?
  16. No just didnt have my camera so i brought them to the house then put them in a farm pond. Can you see both the fish?

My names Brent Christian, Yes im only 18 years old, but dont let that fool you, i am from Ashland Kentucky, Obviously i love to fish, i also like to hunt and all the other ordinary redneck things. I mainly fish for Largemouths 90% of the time i rubber worm fish, theres not to many big lakes around here just Grayson, Yatesville, Greenbo, and i also do alot of fishin in the Ohio river. And every now and again i will go to Ky lake. I Have a 1993 21ft Ranger 391v with a 150 Johnson it gets me where im going. Well thats enough for now Thanks Everyone. Brent Christian.
