  7. 99% of your fish will be above the thermocline. Bass do go below and can be caught below the thermocline. Numbers wise and percentage wise I would not waste my time fishing below it unless they are feeding on the shad below it. Every lake I have ever dove that has a thermocline there is very little to no life below the thermocline. This includes any type of growth.

  15. For the more affordable ones this year I used some of the Rick Clunn STX. Overall performance is as good as an LC.

  17. I always drag a jig by moving the rod up and not to the side. It helps me keep from digging the jig into big chunk rocks and getting hung up.

  25. Huh? I see several. Yes, I've broke of several times with braid while fishing it in the rocks. I've pretty much quit using braid when rocks are present.
