  1. One more thing. It is extremely important not to put wet lures/hooks back into to the tackle box. This is one thing I have done for the last couple years and I believe it has saved a lot of rust or corrosion issues.
  2. I use silica packs also for the last several years. Seems to work well.
  3. Very nice bass!!
  4. I do not do anything to them.
  5. All these guys are right. Its fun but you have very cautious.
  6. Awesome Congrats.
  7. It is a good time to throw the jigs imo but I would not limit myself to only jigs. Your selection and sizes are great. I fish a lot of nasty stuff and I do not lose many jigs. Last time I fished was before we got ice and I lost one jig in about 5 hrs. Sometimes I can go several trips and not lose a lure.
  8. This guy, http://siebertoutdoors.com/Siebert-Tournament-Swim-Jig-022.htm
  9. You are correct. It is the hook that is different. The Mustad Ultra Point is a good hook, but the Deep Throat Owner is a better hook. The penetrating and performance is better from what I have found. It penetrates like a light wire hook and the wire is a medium wire that is still strong for a long lasting hook and point.
  10. I would go with the Brush head. Its a great all around jig head. Only exception is thick grass. Then I would go with the grass head. Top two colors I would chose are Blue bug, PBJ right now.
  11. I have fished both of your styles. I have yet to notice any significant difference. I will mostly any more throw a blue bug jig with a blue bug craw.
  12. I build lures most of the time. For the last few years I've also been going on an annual trout fishing trip in late January or early February.
  13. Congrats to 2k post.
  14. The Brush or Arky will fit that bill quite nicely. I prefer the brush for 90% of my fishing. Iabass8 pm inbound.
  15. I fish off a floating tackle shop. LOL
  16. Geez. Good luck. I hope to read the reports on the fish you catch off that.
  17. The skirt colors and head colors are up. Thank you everyone for the suggestions and ideas. if you have more feel free to pm me. I am looking for a better way to show the skirts.
  18. Raul, They make rain coats. We are actually suppose to hit about 55-60 tomorrow. Maybe all the lakes will unfreeze.
  19. I'll be adding the skirt colors and head colors tonight. Tungsten is growing quickly in the fishing industry and with laws like MA passed it will continue to grow. i'm hoping to do more expanding in this area in 2014.
  20. We have been working hard on our new site and now its up and running. http://siebertoutdoors.com/main.sc The site has not fully uploaded to the whole web yet. The WWW. still links to the old site. We do still have some work ahead of us. For example better descriptions and pictures. Here is an example of some new features. http://siebertoutdoors.com/Dredge-Brush-005.htm?productId=5 There is an option to select a standard collar, wire tie, or rattles on most jigs. I will also be adding a skirt color chart (hopefully tonight) to every jig selection to make it easier and more streamlined. There are many more features and changes. Thank you all. Mike
  21. I use the same rod. 7'3" x heavy glx.
  22. That is a pretty cool color.
  23. Right now my 2 favorites are Rage DB Craw or a Rage Craw.
  24. If I was to guess I'd say around 75 some where. It was a slow year for me.
