  1. I'm looking into trying to find a football mold it will fit in. Thanks everyone. Its a sweet shaky head. About the only thing I can think of on the robo worm is clip the coil like stated above.
  2. What do you think? An Owner Deep Throat hook on a shaky head!
  3. http://www.siebertoutdoors.com/Tungsten-Football-Jigheads-066.htm?productId=57 Here is the Tungsten Football Head. Thanks
  4. What size and type of battery are you using for your starting battery on your boat? I'm looking to get another Optima but I'm looking at all brands. I'd like to have something lighter and no water fills. I noticed Cabelas has a good deal on AGM's. Its to start a Ficht 225 and run all the other goods.
  5. Tonight I'll post them.
  6. I use a piece of skirt material.
  7. Good luck
  8. I would deal directly with St Croix. Keep the middle man out of it.
  9. Nice fish!
  10. Thanks. Is it better then a jig. No, but I wouldnt say its worse at times. Just a different type of presentation. I do not throw the spider grubs much anymore. They do work and are great baits. When I do fish one its mostly like what JFrancho said.
  11. Are you talking about spider grubs like a Chompers or a Finesse style jig?
  12. Another nice fish.
  13. Fish!! I'm not that big of a football fan anymore. I do still watch it here and there. Mostly college.
  14. "You hear about all the Ficht problems, but at the same time, there are a hellava lot of them running that has mega hours on them and has never given a problem." Yup. I do like mine and it runs really well. When I was talking to my local shop about them and Etecs he said something that made a lot of sense. If it was going to blow up or major break down it would have done it years ago.
  15. I rarely fish a trig. If i do its just with what I consider my jig rods. I have 3. 7 1 mh legend elite 7 1 glx heavy 7 3 heavy glx
  16. For me, most of the smallies I catch come from fishing rocks or gravel. Rocky points are one of my all time favorite smallie places.
  17. Nice job.
  18. Congrats!!!
  19. To build on what Mark said. Don't be afraid to swim that jig either.
  20. I offer Tungsten Arky heads and this weekend I'll be adding pictures to the 1/2 football jig and jig head.
  21. Ahh, Gotcha. To make a finesse style cut I fold all the strands close to the head forward over the head and pinch the skirt material right above the head with my fingers. Trim off the excess. When I fish a jig I always trim the skirt approx. 1/2-3/4" past the hook. I use the same technique as above but for behind the hook.
