  1. Aint that the truth. There is no winning, 1/2 winning, or attempting to win. Its yes dear what can i help you with.
  2. I'm going to say Tablerock. Probably one of the hardest lakes to fish at times also.
  3. Coldest I've ever fished in that I can remember is surface temp of 38.
  4. Wow, Awesome fish for sure. Congrats.
  5. I'd take one of those accidents any day.
  6. If those are even your 10th run its an awesome job!!
  7. Thanks. Sounds easy enough. I'll give it a shot.
  8. I'm with the other guys. Cranks/Lipless cranks for a start. A lot does depend on the boater though.
  9. I prefer them on a shaky head/stand up jighead over T rigged. I like the fall presentation and how the craw points up from the shaky head over a Trig unless I'm fishing in the weeds. That rage rig is deadly over the tops of grass, dropping down weedlines, or dragging over lay downs from what I've found.
  10. I use 20-24 ga wire.
  11. My buddy will be there also
  12. I'll be there Gary, I wouldn't want to miss it.
  13. Fishing up on St Clair I've actually seen the jerkbait bite color completely change with a cloud coming over then change back when the cloud moves on. This was all in the same spot, same depths, etc. Nothing changed but the cloud.
  14. Wow!! Ouch. I hope it heals quick for you.
  15. That is the great thing about fishing. The ever changing weather patterns, available light, and will it or will it not effect the bite. The ultimate goal of the fisherman is learning to read these condition changes and change with them.
  16. That is about the same as I use. Will all colors possibly catch fish in any water condition. Yes. There are a few colors I have found over the years that work in many if not all conditions. 2 of those are Black and Blue then Green Pumpkin. From my experiences jig fishing some colors do out produce in different water types. When I fish clear water I have always had better luck with browns, greens, etc. While others will work I have best confidence in these colors. Tablerock Lake is a prime example of this. I have yet to catch a fish out of that lake on black/blue jig. But If I throw a green pumpkin or PBJ I know I'll catch fish. I also know people do catch fish on blk blue in this lake. When a fisherman is getting into jig fishing or asks for my opinion on what I would throw my goal is giving them the highest probability from my experiences. I want to make the learning curve as short as possible with the best chance of success. Congrats on the Rescue Diver Preytorien, That was one of my favorite classes.
  17. Please explain. I need to raise my yields on this.
  18. My wife does most of the canning but I do know she adds lemon juice to it. To tell you the truth I've never been able to taste the lemon. Its not much at all. Teaspoon I think. We actually just can the sauce. No ingredients to for pasta sauce or anything. We add all of that when we use it. We started with a standard canning kit but we did just get a pressure canner for this year. I did grow a few sweet potatos and had one bigger then a football. LOL
  19. Just added the rage craw Pbj.
  20. Awesome fish as usual.
  21. Congrats on the finish. Sammy huh? that's a rarity.
