Unhook the bait while the fish is in the net is the best way I've found. If the hooks are all exposed there is a good chance that your finger will find one.
My favorites are the Rage Craw and Menace. Use the craw as a trailer and the Menace on a shaky head.
I do also like the Space Monkey, Smokin Rooster and Shell Cracker but I use the 2 above more.
What is your favorite braid? Suffix 832. I have some Kanzen I have yet to try. Your favorite fluorocarbon? Inviz X Your favorite monofilament? N/A Your favorite copolymer? N/A
During the Bass Resource Road trip this year I had the opportunity to fish the new Rage Bug a little bit and have been fishing the few I have left. To say the least in one day the Bug quickly became my favorite creature styled bait I own. It is a little slimmer design then some of the brands I have fished and seems to glide through the water easier while having more limb movement due to the Rage designed curves. I am very impressed with this bait. It fits my style of fishing creature baits perfectly. I have also found that it is a very easy bait to pitch, and even pulls through the veggies very well with either a punch rig or a flipping weight. It is an extremely universal creature. Its one that I definitely will keep in my box.
I've attached a picture of the last two I have.
The black and blue one is on my Tungsten punch rig with an Owner Flipping hook. The green pumpkin is just to show the bait.
Its the CPS hooked to the hook. Here is a picture of it. This is a prototype with a normal coil not the cps. What I'm finding is the soft plastic lasts a lot longer typically. Especially with baits like a Senko.
Its an Owner Center Pin. Its basically a coil spring on a shaky head but has a pin in the center of it. This little pin makes putting a bait on a coil 100x easier.

Thanks. That hook is one I'm testing right now. Its a Deep Throat Owner hook with a cps added to it. I'll probably be offering it soon. All the fish I've caught on it and all the time on the water its a very positive result. That hook makes a wicked jig hook so I thought why wouldnt it make a wicked T riggin hook.
Choporoz, That is correct. Its 3/0 has 5 and 4/0 or 5/0 has 4. I just updated the website.
Shimanodobynsguy. Give me a few days and I'll put something together. I've got some pictures of jigs + rage to take also. I'll get some pictures of the couple I have left also.
Today May 23rd through May 28th we will be running a 10% off sale on all Rage Tail, Mattlures, and Owner Flipping Hooks while supplies last.

Thank you all

Twist lock hooks. Your bait will normally last longer also. I've been doing a lot of comparisons with the twist lock vs standard worm hook. All of my findings so far are positive. I have yet to find a negative.
