  1. Nice smallie. Right now I would think they would be hammering a paddle tail, spinnerbait or a crankbait chasing shad around. Chart black back crank chart/white spinnerbait shad colored paddle tail
  2. Oh, how that aggravates me when they do that.
  3. So True. Most companies say exactly what size and brand they are. Some you may have to ask or do the set trebles next to the bait and compare technique.
  4. Swimming I rig like this. If I am hopping a swim jig on the bottom I rig it horizontal.
  5. I forgot to mention. This includes Ragetail Structure bugs. They are on sale for 4.32 a bag! It also includes the Rage Menace!!!
  6. Some nice catching there!!! Thanks for sharing.
  7. Agreed. you can "feel" the speed of the crankbait by the way it is pulling through the water or bouncing off the bottom. Each bait has its sweet spot that it performs best at.

  9. The best way to fish any jig is to learn its strengths and weaknesses. All jigs will have them. All lures will have them. Learning how a specific jig functions in different types of structure will produce more fish and reduce hang ups. There is a lot in design of a jig that helps a design move from one structure to another. But if you do not learn the capabilities of the design it will lead to hang ups or poor results.
  10. I drive it up as far as I can and walk the boat up the trailer. The boat ramp angle plays a huge role in doing this.
  11. The only name I've given to a place. I passed it on from another guy for rightful reasons. The hog trough.

  13. Nice fish!! Congrats. Bummer on losing that many lures.
  14. I dont use slow reels. Like said above its all preference. For me its easier to reel slower then it is to reel faster. I've tried the 5. reels. I cant use them and its always seemed like I'm working a lot harder then I should be.
  15. I'm going to have to get some of those for 1 oz round ball heads for walleye fishing.
  16. going off the wiggum That's all I needed to hear. Boy, this thing works great.

  22. This really depends on the location and the birds. Many times they will land if you are 100+ yds away from the guys hunting. Especially if they are local birds. The hunters typically care more then the birds. Personally I would stay about 200+ yds away from them just due to shot fall out.
