  1. DVT. I've had Mike fix several of my reels over the years.
  2. Ditto Speedbead. I bought my wife a shield and really like it. Nice gun and shoots really well.
  3. I have great luck with a shaky at very shallow to 30-40 ft deep. Shaky heads just work.
  4. I just fixed this. All of them now are named. I'll also work on getting bigger and better pictures.
  5. Hey guys, Sorry you are having problems viewing the pictures. Badbass, I use firefox also and the picture should expand once clicked on and then you should be able to click it again to expand it more. http://siebertoutdoors.com/Storm-Series-Jig-409.htm?productId=13. For the color charts on the custom jigs I know this is an issue and I apologize for it. I am constantly looking for a better solution to the small pictures to increase the size so everyone can view them easier. The main issue is I can only hold 10 pictures like I have in the Storm Series, Dredge Arky, Brush, and Football which are 10 of the most popular colors and have added a custom build side for the guys looking for custom but I am looking for a work around to the smaller charts. I spent an hour on the phone with the website host and I believe the problem with the pictures is fixed of the colors not changing accordingly. On a good not, Bluebasser did an awesome job with his jig color. I know it will be a great jig. Thank you
  6. Good luck guys and stay safe!!
  7. Here is one of my posts on this subject. I hope it helps. http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/145893-selecting-the-appropriate-jig-head/
  8. I vote wear it out!!
  9. I just ordered a bunch. They were out of some of the good colors and baits. I hope to have them in about a week or two. Thank you everyone.
  10. Many swimbait or Rage rig hooks use that exact hook.
  11. Is there any interest in me carrying Keitech baits? If so what would you like to see me carry? I would like to see what everyone's favorites are.
  12. Don't use the 90 deg hooks stick with 30-60 deg bends. One of my favorite hooks is an Owner Deep Throat Jig hook with a CPS added and plastic rigged. I used this and a Rage Craw and Structure bug last year on Wilson Lake with the Roadtrip Crew. I used this for almost a year straight until I started using the Owner Flipping hook. Oddly I called Owner this morning about ordering 1k worm hooks. They are still more expensive then jig hooks.
  13. For the best readings it does need to be close. Here is what the manual states | Downscan Overlay The StructureScan transducer should be installed within approxi - mately 1 foot of the broadband sounder transducer to get optimum performance from the Downscan Overlay feature. It is recommended you turn off Downscan Overlay when using your trolling motor as the sonar source, unless the StructureScan transducer and broadband sounder transducer both are installed on the trolling motor. Downscan overlay performance could be degraded if the Struc - tureScan transducer is too far away from the broadband sounder transducer installed on the trolling motor.
  14. I dont see your issue Joe. Tubes are a phenomenal bait and work year round. As you stated they work just about any way you rig them. Its one of if not the top choice when I'm smallie fishing.
  15. Definitely looks like you guys beat that cold front!
  16. LOL, If you mount it to the boat use a high quality marine sealant.
  17. Hey! I resemble that remark. LOL I've noticed the same thing and often think. How many of these are BR guys?
  18. Both. Some things I put in 3700 like tubes lizards, and some other baits. Things like Rage Craws, Menace, etc I have them in the original packaging then in a box like above. This helps keep them organized.
  19. That sounds exactly how I have mine mounted. The LSS box is up against the rod locker wall and the other side is the console. You wont need sealant. The console will keep the other side. With that said the screws I used didnt go through.
  20. Its a must. Them metal do it pins are horrible. Heat the head, put the pin in, dip, once paint ad-hearse pull out pin and bake.
  21. I installed mine a few years ago. It was pretty easy and straight forward. The biggest deal was connecting the LSS wires correctly and deciding where to put the LSS on the transom. The directions tell you exactly how to do this. One thing I would do for sure is run a separate power wire for the HDS 7. I first ran mine off another power wire. Bad idea. It would reset itself when the outboard started. Problem is gone since I ran a new wire.
  22. I would buy the heads made and build the skirts for them.
