  1. I believe del mart does
  2. I agree with Jim, go with the black/blue 10" worm. I prefer powerbait 10" worms
  3. Sounds like a cool idea. I'll sign up for the task. you cant spell MOJO with out the MO in it.
  4. Found it Check'em out http://www.reelseats.com/catalog/product_info.php/cPath/29_40/products_id/120?ecSid=726e36417a524baa2ef8676e267ca6fd
  5. Thats what I was thinking also. If that didnt work pitch a tube or jig in there.
  6. For you custom rod builders. Are these available to purchase yet? I'm thinking of having them put on one of my MBR843's.
  7. The perfect lure and presentation in the wrong location (no bass) has a 05 chance of catching a bass. Now put the wrong lure in the right location and at least you've got a shot. Exactly. Thats what I was thinking
  8. I always start with confidence baits and locations along with seasonal patterns. If its summer I would head strait to "typical" hang out areas. Points, channels, humps.
  9. My first thought was Chevy. Now if I had to pick someone else. That would be very difficult to do. There are so many people here I would like to fish with, really everyone. Overall would be Raul. Why I've known him the longest and he has great fishing stories whether good or bad. Some others Roadwarrior (if the fish weren't bitting the budweiser would be) LBH (yeah, we would end up getting in trouble some how) Triton Mike (very good fisherman) Rolo (multi species knowledge) The list continues on and on.
  10. I think it does get alot tougher in mid day and it gets alot hotter for the fisherman. So I think the poll is kinda swayed as when do you fish. For most of us we probably dont fish all day so the truth cant really be said for sure. When do I have the best luck. That would be evening to about 10. But I dont have alot of time then, so I am stuck fishing more mornings then evenings.
  11. I been reading alot of posts around on night fishing and lures. One lure I really dont see show up is a crankbait. My question is why? It works great for me, but maybe not you guy's. Or am I letting out one of my secrets with this post. Most of the time I see the usual worm, buzzbait, or jig responses. Some spinnerbait but not many. The crank has a ton of vibration to it compaired to a worm or jig.
  12. thats the method I use and I typically fish it slow. Let the bait sit for anywhere from a few seconds to 10
  13. I noticed you live in AZ so I would say its hot. Fish slow. Still try the fast reaction strike lure you never know. I wouldnt give it a long fishing time but its worth a while.
  14. I dont talk a whole lot pretty reserved and quiet. Never have much to say. If I'm fishing by myself I might humm a little jingle but its usually quite. I just listen to the birds and other wildlife. Very peaceful and relaxing. When I am fishing with someone most of the time the conversation is started by them.
  15. thats my motto too. I dont want to go home skunked. i have to catch atleast one.
  16. About 30 is where I start looking at maybe not going. There are alot of factors. The way the lake sits and the direction of the wind. Type of boat Experience in driving in larger waves Are the fish bitting or am I wasting time Just to name a few. One of my mottos is "If you wait for the perfect day to fish you will never get to go"
  17. I agree with everyone else, you need a heavier wire hook.
  18. This is sounding great LBH, I cant wait until the next go around. Who would have thought I would have thrown a fluke again. I cant wait until the next challenge to see what lure I get to knock the dust off of. :-?
  19. I see this brought up alot but I have also found in tourneys a keeper can be anywhere from 10"-16" depending on the tourney's I have seen. I typically consider a keeper 15" or more. Like said previously most tourneys around here are based off 15" but I have seen some that it starts at 10" or 12" etc. I have also seen slot limits on lakes where anything between 13-16" had to be released on a certain lake. Just wondering what a keeper is to you.
  20. I threw it on a baitcaster with 12lb flourocarbon.
  21. yeah about 2 weeks ago I fished it for the first time. http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1149885696 I believe its the 2nd post with my comments and description of the rig.
  22. Do you have a link?
  23. None, I read these forums and ask questions. besides that its all water time. The reasoning behind it is honest answers and most are unbiased. You get alot less advertising and marketing schemes. Just my opinion though.
  24. Sounds really good LBH. If I am thinking correctly the week between #2 & #3 weekend would be were we all challenge each other. That way it leaves 2 full weekends of fishing since a majority of us are only capable of fishing on the weekends. Hate to be negative but also if someone says they are in and never comes back and challenges another member.
  25. changing lures even though the one you are throwing is catching fish. I find myself doing this alot. I will catch a few fish on a jig and get tired of catching fish off of a jig and see if something else works. Or do you guys just stick with one bait that is working and never try anything else. Reason I ask is sometimes a crank will produce a ton of dinks and switching to a spinnerbait will produce bigger fish. (just an example).
