  1. not if we cant start closing on the astro's. Wish we had a closer it might help us past the 1st game of th playoffs. If we make it that far.
  2. Sounds like youve been busy. What paper is due? Bass Research I'm sure. Or a public speach on the strategy of Mets VS Cards.
  3. So muddy did you watch the cards last night? I knew they shouldnt have pitch to B. Should have walked him.
  4. IMO its a make you feel good thing. if it makes you feel good shorten it. If not dont. Just my opinion. BTW I dont shorten mine either. Like said above I also think its a catch 22.
  5. Do you guys think this is the longest topic on the board. I havent seen on longer yet. Lets shoot for 30 pgs by the end of the world series. Mets vs Cards = 1 shiny new Rapala for Gman's tackle box.
  6. I'll bring the dump truck and front loader for this pile.
  7. Hey Muddy it doesnt matter if we are first or last to get there, it just matters who makes it all the way through.
  8. Dont worry KMAC, The pads will knock out the mets and the tigers will take down the Yankees.
  9. we are procrastinaters. We wait until the last minute.
  10. With pics like that why are you wasting time postin. Get huntin! Awsome pics dude.
  11. Just like in business. The term FIFO First in First Out.
  12. Uht OH, pujols just might have got hurt. We better hope not!
  13. I fish out of a 12'xabout 30" alot. I stand all the time. It does take a little balance or sea legs. I cant fish sitting down at all. I even stand when I fish out of my paddle boat.
  14. My 2nd biggest bass came off a spro frog. It was around 7lbs. Like said above besides the frogs I have yet to break over 5.5lbs on other top water lures. I've caught some low 5's but thats it. No hawgs.
  15. Since we are all from different parts of the country. What is the coldest water you guys will fish? I'm sure some of you guys dont even see below 50 degrees. Other well are frozen up for 4 months. The coldest I fish is high 30's.
  16. Ok guys Rootbeer it is. I will get the ice cream for the floats. MMMM Rootbeer float. Now I will have to stop and get one from DQ. Everyone can come over to my house and I will grill the brats. Just let me know I will have to buy a bigger TV. all I have at the moment is a 15". I just bought a house and saving for the 42" If you guys want you can bring a paint brush too. heck I will supply the paint and paint brush. Also if either of the teams starts making one of us mad I have a sledge hammer you can take your frustrations out on an old shelf. or we can hook my truck up to the clothes line poles and rip them out. Who's in?
  17. Kidding who's been kidding. I'm all serious business no jokes. Look at all my posts. Not a single joke in them. I'm starting to wonder if this is the longest thread on the board. Muddy since you dont drink. I guess Valucus, K-mac, and I will have to drink you portion. I dont know how old CJ is but if he is over 21 he's in too. Boo Mets Go Cards
  18. LBH you could buy a Ranger and cut it in half. They float up right. Cart7 Yep. Up on the osage or glaze it looks pretty typical.
  19. If it doesnt go my way muddy good thing I got my shots in early.
  20. IMO the senko was designed to throw on spinning equipment along docks, weedline edges, or other open ambush points. I use 8lb flourocarbon on a 7'1" BSR852 rod. Makes an excellent senko rod. You guys with patience problems should fish a senko over suspended fish in about 20+ ft of water. You will learn patience real quick or go crazy. This lure also works very well in cold water. That slow fall wiggle is just a fish producing lure. IMO the senko is like a tube. There is no wrong way to fish it. Anyway it is fished it will work! Patience is a Virtue, and virtues are rewarded with big fish. 8-)
  21. I hope they are. Especially if we meet in the Playoffs. With our pitching we need all the help we can get. Crumble Crumble Mets.
  22. I have to agree RW. If someone follows that to a T, I think its would almost physically impossible not to catch a fish. . Simple advice and very effective. LBHIMO, if this is one of the most important things a fisherman can do.
  23. Does a Rapala Shipped to St Louis bring up any hints.
  24. I typically use my left hand and hold my rod in my right hand.
  25. I'm afraid of lipping little fish. Reason is Roadwarrior will make fun of me for bringing small fish to the boat.. Lipping big fish is easy. Like LBH posted there is nothing to worry about. After a few times it will become routine and you wont even think about it. The scuff marks they leave on your thumb is proof that you caught fish and not in a lie.
