  4. Today is our voting day I have have decided not to vote because I really dont like either person or their veiws. I dont want to claim ownership of voting for either person. Plus a the other major issues I really dont have an opinion on either way. I mostly just wish we could get a good politician to run. Someone who tells me on the tv how they will benifit Missourians and not bash the opponent. I could care less about pointing fingers. I want quality results. Not turdism. (you guy's word of the day I just made up) I guess this more of a rant.
  5. What colors do you guys use to replicate a bluegill?
  6. I agree with that RW on the treble hooks. If I set the hook on them like a jig I dont think I would ever catch a fish on a treble. Another thing I have noticed is when I set the hook if I pull strait up I tend to catch more then pulling to the side. The pulling to the side hookset I believe pulls the lure out of the fishes mouth.
  7. LOL, thats why no one responds to my posts. ;D I will say 3lbs
  8. I found out that I was just the opposite of this. I was setting the hook too hard and ripping it out of the fishes mouth. I have switched over to the snap set like LBH is talking about from the advice of Roadwarrior and know I am boating even more fish. I use to think that if you weren't making huge waves from the boat rocking you werent setting the hook hard enough. But I have fixed the problem and increased the hookup ratio
  9. Well, I got the bench framed up. I had to go with 10 ft not 10.6 because of room. The bench is 10 ft long, 40" high(I'm tall), 34" wide. The thing is sturdy too. I was walking on the frame when I fixed a window by it. I dont think I have to worry about breaking the bench. Once its all completed I will post up some pics in the tackle making section since that will be part of the bench in design.

  15. Nice, subtle one to slip in there, GMAN. I'll stick with my Homelite retriever. Though lower in value it still gets the job done. LOL, I've been pulling jokes like that all day. This is one of my best though. I wondered if anyone would catch it. I thought it was kinder funny. Also muddy that was good tool

  24. I agree with Cart7 lets wait. I also agree that the sign up for a certain month should be the last 2 weeks of the month before the challenge starts. LBH I never did receive a challenge for Oct from ya. Good thing I've been a little busy too. Thats why I didnt bother you about it.
