  1. I have a sustain on my BSR852. Makes a great combo.
  2. great one muddy
  3. What exactly is this? I think I know but not sure Does it inclued a Truck, hitch, ski rope and a snowboard. :-?
  4. I blame Raul for everything I buy and he says good purchase. Then we laugh and go on to the next purchase. Oh by the way I named my baitmonkey Raul. ;D
  5. I'm going to make my on lure from other parts of soft plastics. What I'm looking for is some ideas that will help me out along the way in the look of a lure. Here is what I'm thinking right now creature style. Approx lenth 4" crawfish claws/profile bigger bulk body open to any good idea.
  6. I agree with the motor and electronics. Go with most other replies Minn Kota. I've used both and minn kota is stronger, last longer.
  7. I have some powdered tungsten that a guy gave me and thought about adding it to senko style bait to get it to sink quicker. Has anyone tried this out? Reason is if I get more weight I can fish it in weeds and in deeper water I dont have to wait as long.
  8. Oh I thought it was Little Bass Hunter. If its like his other lures Aaron should be making some great baits.
  9. I use mostly 10lb flourocarbon.
  10. 3/8 nichols spinnerbait spro frog both were in the low 7's some where dont remember exact weights
  11. Thanks guys, The creature and stick bait are alum. and the others are plaster or silicone. If you can afford it the al are the way to go. I dont think you could wear one out
  12. I do some, I use 15-20 for heavier duty applications and c rigs. I've been switching over to all flouro but in muddy water I still use it some. Its a great line but I dont fish alot of muddy water anymore so its being replaced.
  13. Well, I had to give them a test run yesterday and the frogs were awsome and I know the conditions werent right 48 deg h2o. but I know they will produce The stick baits/trailers need work but those were trial runs.
  14. Here is how I judge it. This is what I have had the best luck with. Clear water = flourocarbon Stained = flourocarbon prefereably or lo vis green muddy= doesnt matter weedy/clear= flouro weedy/stained flouro/braid weedy muddy braid
  15. Sweet so where are the real ones.
  16. How do they look?
  17. I'm planning on going out sunday. here is my battle plan. Start off with a jerkbait, jig, tube. As the water warms up in the afternoon switch over to the crank and spinnerbait. I'm going to focus on laydowns, weeds if any are left, and chunk rock points.
  18. G Loomis sent me out a FSR904x tip top not to long ago because some how I broke it. NO Charge. Thats why I buy them.
  19. I'm with Ghoti on this one. Jig fishing isnt done from the reel its all in the rod. All I use the reel for is picking up slack line on the retrieve. I prefer fast retreives like said above you can keep up with a fish running with the lure. Especially at those depths. I use a chronarch sf. for my jiggin.
  20. Well in that case. I was lieing about the ugly tree. You cant have a party without the Gman. ;D
  21. Well I'm safe. No worries here. I fell out of the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down. Shoo wee, No anal probing for me.
  22. I just order from lurecraft and delmart. both are great. I have a couple of dels molds and they are awsome.
  23. I always shot 1's for that. but dont shoot them close.
  24. IMO that is a preference call. I use a Heavy most of the time for T rig or jig in 3/8. But the med/hvy works good too. I just like the extra power. I've never thrown an ika but I would think its not much different then a senko, which the MH would be better for. goods of both with what I think. 843 spinnerbaits senkos (ika)? top water like buzzbaits 844 jig t rig c rig With that aside, I would buy the one that you will use more since you are only buying 1 so if you fish a senko 90% of the time I would go with a 843. Just an example.
