  1. I'm with chris on this one too. I can explain it fairly well but if you watch me its ugly. I have modified most casting techniques to fit my fishing style. It works great for me so I dont plan on changing anything. I rarely flip anyway mostly pitch or side arm cast.
  2. Been tying off and on for about 10 years now. I cant make anything fancy, I stick with basic patterns that I know work, Scuds, san juan worms, nymphs, dry flies, wet flys, jigs, and streamers.
  3. Most of my fishing includes pitching and flouro. Thats pretty much the way I fish except in technique specific areas.
  4. Did the Mods mention the newest member buys hot cocoa and doughnuts for all of the other members of the No Life club. Its in the read before you post sticky
  5. My buddy ran across a similiar situation. He told them to stick the camera and he canceled his order, they told him basically the same thing about extra charges. He said I dont think so. He called the credit card company and explained it to them. They canceled the card and got him an new # card. If you dont want this camera I suggest doing the same. Dont put up with it or just give in and pay it. Cancel all of it and dont look back
  6. I'm suprised these 2, rattle traps/vibes 11 and Water Dogs 13 didnt account for more. Very informative. So you guys going to fork better stock up on jigs, plastics and a couple other things. Play the percentage.
  7. I alway get these mixed up. But the one I like is the mid size. To guess I would say its 3" long. The baby imo is just too small and the real big one I'm not that fond of because its huge.
  8. Yep the winter blues have set in here too. High today is 33 then for the next 10 days the high will be in the 20's. Heeeellllloooooooooooo Spring where are you. I'm going crazy
  9. I've tried to dip tubes already with little sucess. Actually pretty much none. But I want to give it another shot. I need an idea of a container that I can make a tube about 6" long and the container needs to be thin on the sides so I dont waste a ton of plastic. Any ideas? the only one I can think of is a regular house glass but I dont think it will hold up to the heat. Also is it easier to dip tubes vertically or horizontally?
  10. 1. 3/8 2. 1/2 3. 5/16
  11. LBH, If you made stickers for for boats that said Low Budget Hookers I'd pay for one to put on my boat. I'd even put one on my truck. The profit can go to you or cast I dont care. It would be classic. Old Ranger 330v going down the lake with a wrap that says LOW BUDGET HOOKERS, then I smoke'em all that run 30k+ boats. Team Low budget hookers
  12. Have you thought about getting some of that autographed apparel and auctioning it off. Might be a good way to get some donation money for Cast for Kids.
  13. Only if it was standing on the hood of a brown truck hood surfing at 85 mph. LOL
  14. all the time. I just like to tinker. I will get an idea of what I want to do. Then look at what I have. Somehow I alway can muster up a contraption that works.
  15. 1 gal. ziplock bag. Not Joking.
  16. Lardbass, Here are a few I have delt with and had great sucess on their lures. Micromunch tackle Joesjigtrailers Ghostbaits I was thinking more about this topic and I figured out that last year I doubt I bought 5 packs of off the shelf plastics. Every thing I ordered/bought were from the three previously mentioned people. Side note: I do not get anything for free from any of those companies. I buy it just like everyone else.
  17. I 2nd Earthworms post. Alot of handpour's small business make better baits and usually reasonably priced. The main benifit is custom colors and softness
  18. My favorite one I have is a BCR854. Best rod I have ever used for all around jigs and worms. I've also got BCR 853,855 and some GLx 844's,843's
  19. well I got an update. I would bet from the dry rotting. I poured some jigheads over the weekend and used a collar as a lead stop. Never melted the amber collar 700+ degrees. So I guess its more from dry rotting then anything.
  20. bombed. I have been. I was bank fishing at a park when a bunch of geese took off and were flying my way. I started seeing little ker-plunks in the water and was like "Oh crap". it reminded me of a WW2 movie when the bombers would fly over open up the bomb doors and carpet bomb the place. it wasnt pretty either.
  21. Like said above a group photo of everyone or everyone on film. Good luck guys and catch some biggies.
  22. Muddyman catching a lunker 10+lbs with a St Louis Card ball cap on Atleast a cast or 2 from everyone Pics of some monster fish being caught Girls jumping on a trampoline
  23. I've been thinking about posting this topic for a few days. Reason I havent is I couldnt think of anything I was scared of. Spiders, No Snakes, No any other animals, NO Storms, No People, No Heights or small spaces, NO But I finally figured it out. Needles going into a vein, figured it out from a blood drive. Just gives me the heebejeebies. So whats yours?
  24. I fixed it for you Raul. I've actually reduced my tackle by 20-25%. Now I am down to just what I use all the time
